A friend of mine believes I’m the tallest Aikido practitioner (other than Seagal) seeing I’m 6"6. However, I cannot say that I’m a practitioner because I’m not training in that style currently, nor do I possess a belt. :shake:

Lol, I am 6’5 and have trained with guys taller than me dude so your friend might not be right. Being tall and having people flip you is a pain in the ass.

It has happened to me before, and yes, it’s a pain in the ass. Funny thing about it, it was the new girl who came in on the last day of practice. Too bad our counselor never came back next year, but I couldn’t blame him. That school was a hell hole. Another friend of mine recommend I go into Jujitsu, though I still feel I’d be pretty frightening in Kendo.

Speaking about winter, it’s not only the worst season of the year but also the one with the most associated costs. Winter jackets, boots, gloves, thermal underwear, and various other shit, a noticeable increase in electricity bills, an increased desire for alcohol to keep warm, winter tires and shit, equipment if you plan on doing any outdoor winter activity, etc.
Add to that minor daily annoyances like having to shovel your driveway and feeling extra hot in public transit and it’s easy to see why it’s hated.
Really, the only upside to winter is that girls wear these sexy ass stockings. There’s not that many items of clothing more enticing than a sexy pair of stockings if you ask me.
