Competitive depth, sure, just not in the single player. The single player is just random selection of moves and sometimes luck.
No matter how many charge + electric attacks I do, its still just because I selected some moves and pushed A like 6 times.
Pocket Monsters are cool though.

*Today, on the way to get some gas… I saw a windy upskirt shot. It was glorious. Out of all the possible hot visuals, the windy upskirt shot is easily THE #1 with me. Words can’t even begin to describe how hot that shit is to me. It’s something about seeing your #1 hottest visual ever live and in person… naturally it is way better than watching it on a tv or computer screen. It’s amazing that I didn’t bust a load off immediately upon seeing that. Yes, normally that’s how that plays out. The windy upskirt visual is indeed that strong. The full scope of its power cannot be comprehended by most people.

Regardless, white guys already do the correct thing in horror movies: they magically aren’t a minority and are thus “relate-able” according to Hollywood, which greatly ups the chances of their survivability.
Then again, since they don’t have a vagina and are part of the expendable gender, they can’t really do anything else “correct” when it comes to horror films, especially since (serious) sex change operations pretty much never pop up–haha–in films, much less horror films.
You know, as somebody who almost exclusively watches anime about cute little girls, I would feel weird buying or playing a pokemon game.
