im glad im not young. i dont know how these low testosterone pussies roll, but if someone did anything to me like ive seen in these smack cams, to say they would be hurting and shining my shoes for the rest of their lives would be an understatement. we did casual bullying like that growing up with like that hand slap game, flicking ears, or some other c tier nonsense, but never just running up and slapping someone then posting it on the internet, or in the case of that video, smacking someone with a jug of milk so hard it breaks (might have been already slit) and then loading it up on the internet.

*yeah, The Gazer in Dragon’s Crown is yet another boss that’s kind of ridiculous the first time you fight it…the thing can teleport, shoot a lazer (while moving around quickly), shoots magic energy spheres that home in on, has explosive fire magic, and probably other tactics I’m forgetting(*ah yes, and it can actually eat your character)…and his main ability makes him a nightmare of a fight for magic users… the bastard completely shuts down all your magic just by looking at you. It’s not certain times either…it’s any time he’s looking at your character…that’s how insane this boss is. (*so, the magic users have no choice but to attack the creature from behind or just when he’s otherwise distracted by something…)

This is article is funny because she has good points but she only thinks of “diversity” in terms of the number of women in a comic. Todd was part of the panel she is talking about. Now granted the shit he said about his daughter’s was kind of retarded. But his stuff tends to be p diverse. Shit, when he brought Spawn to Hollywood, they made him whiten the story up before it could even be made.

well i got until she started making her bullet points. um, wasnt mark millar behind “wanted” too, which basically had halle berry as one of the leads that was black, didnt die, and held it down from beginning to end and was in an interracial relationship with dudes dad, who was an occasional bisexual just to spice things up once a year and reassure his taste for women.

As to why there are so few women and minorities represented in comic books, the answer is more complex.

well first of all by law women are minorities, but i wont hold it against her to seperate the two, and hes right, the bigger question is why arent people more interested in those characters. you can ask hollywood the same thing. theyve tried, and the ratings down the toilet for some times, but not always.

i think overall everyone just got lazy on top of higher ups being like nah dont do that. buffy the vampire slayer, female lead, fucking classic. angel, male lead as a branch off of the buffy series, no one remembers it existed. we remember xena over hercules, etc… so for women it works. for minorities (non white non female in this case) it has worked before and then the industry kinda gave up on it.

id have to read her bullet points to get where she is coming from, but i think inadvertently women have been VERY powerful in comics, but maybe actually not the superhero. but she should also address why women shit on powerful female characters too. but on topic but semi off, look how people responded to bayonetta over dante. it was like, get this tits sells shit out of here, wheres the guy with his bare chest out for me to do combos with, and if they had made bayonetta a plain jane but super powerful, the attraction by anyone woulda been even more limited, and it would take years to sell it on its merits alone.
