I swore off PC gaming after I spent $1500 on a diesel rig to play HL2 on. After HL2, nothing worth getting came out until my computer was sadly underpowered.

I miss Blue Mary. I get all nostalgic when I see her, Shermie, or Hanako in one of their cameos. Duck King would also be cool to see again, but I’m probably biased on that one.

All I know is they should never, EVER bring back Chris. Fuck that guy.

That’s actually when I stopped PC gaming, too. I didn’t PC game much after Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 and got back into console and portable gaming with my PS2, Gamecube, PSP, DS and then later a PS3. I’ve come back to PC gaming because it’s getting third-party and indie support like never before, as well as the performance/graphical perks of a decent PC. You can build a good PC now that will last you the entire next-gen if you snag the right parts. You can re-use parts too, my PC case, keyboard+mouse and PSU are over a decade old.

PS4 and Xbone having an online paywall just makes me want to upgrade my PC since I consider that to be beyond bullshit. I know at some point though, even with that bullshit, I just might snag a PS4 eventually once weird-ass third-party exclusives come out for it that don’t make it to PC like the Yakuza/Ninja Gaiden series.
