^ That’s what this site strives to do. DRM-free games. You literally get an .exe install file that you can backup endlessly to other HDD’s/DVD’s/thumb drives etc. Love that site more than Steam and I try to get my games from there as much as possible.

Sometimes there are new games on there. Witcher 2 and Rise of the Triad for example.
Not everyone supports it because developers love DRM. 
Edit: Pirating shouldn’t be an excuse for developers, either. Their digital-only, DRM filled games get pirated regardless, with their “100KB” exclusive DLC/season pass bullshit unlocked.
