SRK Lounge: aka Facebook/livejournal for GD ...or you know...not

The Digital sales numbers on MvC2 were amazing, even before half off sales & discount weekends. Capcom didn’t even pay attention to the market. Just that old cash grab conglomerate money hoarding.

& look where ya at now, fatkids saying you have “ONLY 132 mil in the bank, Crapcom!”

http://smartgunlaws.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/CA-Gun-Bills-Tracking-October-Update-Year-End.pdf

i found a thread about that recent bill signed into law this year on my use to be favorite conspiracy theory website, and people are so dumb. before i get into specifics about the bill, i gotta say, i cannot be the only one who is looking forward to a future at least in this country where there is less access to guns, and much less gun violence. people in america act as if owning a gun is a right given directly from god, and something we should embrace for eternity. that we should never evolve as a society out of the warring state of mind we have, the paranoia, and lust for violence. that we should be free to stack our garages filled with various guns just cause, and i get that to an extent.

unfortunately you can never depend on politicians, local and federal to do much of anything right, and you damn sure cannot leave it up to local law enforcement to be fair and balanced, and not just the yes man that they signed up to be. you dont sign up to be a cop because you do not like taking orders and basically blindly obeying orders. but in the case of this california bill, although a couple things i think are too aggressive, only because its basically left up to the local law enforcement to gauge certain situations like the new law on mental health issues, and owning a gun, where minor issues that might unqualify you from legally owning a firearm could be resolved with just some paper work, and not you trying to snake your way into someones house to get their guns.

also, yeah, they dont have search warrants. JUDGES ARE NOT giving out search warrants for this firearm seizing going on in california. they are basically duping people into letting them in their home, and then from their they start to confiscate and search. the details of how much control you have of that situation even after you invite them in is unbeknown to me. i have not googled that yet, but the fact still remains that regardless of the law, they do not have ample evidence to get search warrants, and are not getting them. so simply if a cop knocks on your door and ask you some dumb shit about an accident earlier, or whatever lie they make up, you say you havent seen anything and walk away, or from what i saw of a nice legal letter someone typed up, you can just slide that under the door and say nothing. lol.

never talk to police, and

no warrant, no come in house. fuck your law.

too address people saying, now the criminals are gonna basically run wild, and we have no means to protect ourselves. people say that as if your average joe schmo criminal, 99 percent of them, has access to a database of people to go rob because they recently lost their guns by confiscation. criminals take that risk of running into someone thats gonna get it poppin every time they do a face to face robbery at gun point, or when they bust up in someones crib and rob them. there is not going to be an epidemic of armed criminals robbing and raping unarmed citizens because of tighter gun regulations in california.

oh you mad you have to register a semi automatic shotgun with a revolving chamber now because its considered an assault rifle, oh whatever, go move to arkansas then. i mean guns are fun, i love shooting, and all that jazz, but this isnt disarming the citizens. this is us as a human race starting to finally grow the fuck up about this gun shit. some of the things in that new law are kinda bogus i agree, like you can be held liable for a known person who is not legally able to possess a firearm getting a hold of your firearm because it wasnt properly put away. so if you are cleaning your gun in your gun room, your cousin comes over and jacks a gun that was in an unlocked drawer, you can be held liable for his crimes. ehhh, i mean that wont hold up well with a decent lawyer in the court of law. how the fuck would i know his legal issues, and even if i did, id just deny that for eternity. the problem is that the state would leverage their time for snitching on you, and thats a whole bucket of mess. yes its reasonable to not let anyone around your weapons, lock them up, etc…, but that addition to the law just looks like it can be a mess in rare cases, and there will be some lovely D.A’s smiling to line up their target to snitch on the person they stole the gun from, saying it was in the open, in order to reduce time.

but i mean i understand it for the most part. you want to force people to take more responsibility of their firearms, and the threat that you could be legally tied up in a mess because you didnt lock up your guns when you had company over is enough to make you do that. i mean, there are some points to argue against having to be liable for someone elses theft, regardless of how they obtained your gun, but i would like to think that the state isnt going to try to throw you under the bus because your meathead family member or friend swiped your gun you keep in the office in an unlocked box. but whatever, moving on.

ugh, ive already typed too much. i dont know, i get the sensitivity over your rights, especially when you cannot really depend on the government and law enforcement to not be complete fucking morons. but not every new gun regulation law is about disarming the citizens, enslaving us in camps, starting armageddon, reptilian alien races harvesting hybrids, and whatever nonsense.

like ive said a million times before, ultimately the military and police, the enforcers in this country are still citizens. they try to brainwash them out of that, but they are, and if your countrymen turned their backs on you during said hypothetical conspiratorial citizen nwo overtaking enslavement, blah blah, then no matter how many guns you have, it wont be enough. all it takes is for them to all just say no, and we go from there. if the vast majority of them followed orders like sheep, like they do now, but if they followed like sheep in a time of legit crisis, and turn against their fellow neighbor, then thats the bigger problem.

**gun regulation is the least of my worries when i look around at generations of people so out of touch and lacking in any sympathy for their fellow man. all the lack of gun regulation in the world wont matter if we’re just gonna still act like weak minded animals ready to slaughter each other without questions asked when shit gets a little wild. **

I just realized this too. How the fuck do regulars get the ban hammer, yet people who are actually spamming stupid shit get to do as they please?

the law states that if you let anybody use your gun you are liable for damages and deaths and must go to jail

the law states that if you kill anybody, you are liable for those death and damages and must go to jail

**please explain to me how the law doesn’t already force every citizen who buys a weapon to grow the fuck up when it comes to firearms. The law already holds you liable for any damages caused by you indirectly and directly.

How is having a 10 round magazine any diffrent from a 30 round. Are you going to sit there and tell me that 3 lives are worth less than 6? This whole firearm debate is fucking retarded on both sides, especially when you consider the fact that all these issues have simple solutions that are not intrusive, and that some people don’t deserve to hold a firearm, let alone look at one. And in the age of the internet real damage comes from explosives, not some whack as AR-15**
edit;

if you respond take this shit to PM

Maybe the mods got a vendetta against those guys are something. That whole “drunk with power” thing.

Hahaha like saying no is gonna stop the cops

Jodi Arias is back in discussion on HLN, I see (*because she allegedly threatened to slit the throat of the prosecutor)… sheeit, that’s gotta be one of the best looking convicted murderers I’ve ever seen. Obviously she’s psychotic and has already been judged as being dangerous, and worthy of being locked up… but how often do you see a murderer that happens to look even halfway decent? Criminals are usually some ugly ass people… and if you analyze that for a second, it’s possible that’s one of the underlying factors… the average person that’s ugly has most likely been bitter and forever pissed off that he or she has had to go through life looking like some hideous mutant…so they are more likely than the average person to eventually lash out at society in some stupid, violent way that will inevitably get them locked up or shot at by police at some point.

Alright, what I miss this time around, some 13K posts later?

Well, you can’t delete your own posts for some strange reason, but keep it in mind for future reference.

Yeah, shouldn’t deleting comments be like…a really basic option available to posters by now?
