SRK Lounge 15 I heard RockB is to blame for the complex bar. PM him to let him know what you think

that makes sense, stop defeating me with logic

i guess when you stockpile as many as i have they start to lose their luster

It’s really more a matter of perception. There are always good and bad. Your mental state dictates which you focus on, which in turn dictates your mental state.

I much prefer being grown to my childhood. I had virtually no control over things as a kid. It was miserable. As an adult, I make choices. Some good, some bad. When I fuck up, I can wallow, or learn and improve.

Improving upon myself is the purpose I find in this life. That, and finding enjoyment in as many things as possible.

making bad choices is pretty much the best thing about being an adult.

never closing the bathroom door is the awesomest thing about living alone

FG statues getting erotic

When have those two characters NOT been in an erotic position…

i heard soviet’s scrotum has been mistaken for edward james olmos’s face on multiple occasions

But now it’s in a tangible, 3D object.

That’s disgusting.

…pretty much all I have to say.

For future reference should you get into an argument with Soviet

Bagged milk. Why you so weird Canada.

In other news, I can’t wait for Evo. It will actually be my first time in Vegas. Should be fun

Why do they do metric for alcohol in the states, but US standard for it everywhere else?

(I yet live. [/and there was no rejoicing])

Hmmm…so I’m gone for like two weeks and there’s at least two lounge threads I have to catch up on?

…This seems about right.

Sigh. Time to catch up…

3 kilometers of quotes await…

your mom tells you such crazy stories, doesn’t she

It also comes in cartons and jugs. But yeah, what’s so weird about bagged milk???

ooooooooooooooooooooooooh

I didn’t realize Americans only get milk in cartons. Fucking weird.

Canadian dairy section usually looks something like this

Numbers confuse americans. In their quest to “not be the rest of the world” they did stupid shit like avoid the metric system (the very system that pretty much governs every other logical person…don’t believe me, go learn physics).

Well, considering you didn’t understand my question…

We (UK) still get them in glass bottles, keeping it old skool

Soda, too. Not sure why this is. I’d say measuring liquids lends itself better to the metric system, but we still buy gas, milk, and juice by the gallon.

Edit: maybe it’s easier given how much liquor is imported. We import/export beer, too, but it isn’t regulated by some states the way liquor is. Ultimately, it may be less red tape, somehow.

and in Canada, you buy a gallon of rum…

Lol yeah, I just discovered that on google while looking for a concrete answer. From what I gather, many food companies are making the transition to metric in the US. Milk was called one of the last “hold outs” in one thing I read.

Another did cite one-label production as an argument in favor of going metric.

lol. Weird things.
