I kind of missed out on 56k. I had 14.4 and then eventually 28.8. Then in '99 my dad bought a new computer. We had 56k for all of two days, then we got 10MB cable.

you can steal something from IN STORE and go up to courtesy with it, and as long as you bitch enough and ask to speak to a manager, they will ‘refund’ it for you, giving you full money for something you never ever bought, simply because of their fucked up “give the customer a lemon” policy which states they CANT lose you as a customer. Also, they aren’t allowed to accuse you of stealing. Even lame ass tricks like buying a 360/PS3 game, opening one of the seals and taking out the disc, putting in a blank cd EVEN IF IT SAYS HA HA ENJOY YOUR BLANK DISC, and resealing it up and claiming you got home home and noticed the weirdness of how it looks like somebody ELSE resealed your game, works. So yeah, rob every walmart blind, I’m a grumpy mother fucker
lol well, i do the same with gamestop… sort of. after my distaste for FF XIII and MvC3 in the long run, i vowed never to buy a new game again. so, i buy a used game. play it, return it on the 7th day, get a full refund, rebuy it, finish the game, return it back and get a full refund. and they can’t say “no.”
Well the thing about spending too much time is often that you’re bouncing around so much from this website to that, from this tab or conversation or project to that, etc. So there actually is a benefit for your brain in slowing the whole process down, I think. More people should try this, even if just for 10 minutes or so.
(Also, I don’t have a router, and so I can’t watch Netflix on my Bluray player and use my cable modem at the same time. When I watch Netflix on my PC/send it to my TV from my computer there’s a weird graphic tearing thing I get).

I can’t get enough of watching Aizen cast Kurohitsugiwith the full incantation for added power. Sadly, it’s one of the last times I enjoyed Bleach. I’d love to just wander around destroying entire sections of the world with that kind of power.
Ideal areas to live… what do you guys prefer—> city life or living somewhere “out in the country”? I went to some small country town one time to see a friend/co-worker throw his life away by getting married… it was actually depressing to envision a life in a place that is so far removed from everything. I’d much rather live close to as much “city stuff” as possible. My first apartment here was in such a great location…each day after work, I had the option to simply walk to so many places. Tower Video (when it still existed) was just 2 or 3 minutes away; practically down the street. Krispy Kreme and a local diner was around the corner. Further down that street on the same block was another local restaurant called Routiers, there’s a pizza place across that street, a Logan’s and a TGIF’s restaurant in the area, there was a comics/collectibles store about 2 blocks over in the other direction, various fast food places and other stores, etc. etc. Oh yeah, and my favorite…the LEGENDARY Fuddruckers was right around the corner from me! Ohhhh that was THE SPOT, dammit. That location was too good. If the rent wasn’t so high, and if it wasn’t such an “old style” (aka raggedy) apartment in terms of the interior, I’d still enjoy living in that exact same spot today. The only real downside would be the noise level of being in such an area. Still, that’s just 1 flaw. It’s strange to me that some folks genuinely prefer to live way out in the middle of nowhere.
