I don’t think any SF4 and onwards fighting game will ever have a matchup as bad as Vanilla Seth vs Zangief. (And no, I don’t think Sim vs Yun is worse. It’s close, but no cigar.) The ONLY saving grace for Gief being that if he could hit a CH jumping headbutt, then Seth was going to get the smack layed down onto him.
Not like that was commonly going to happen, because of Seth’s ridiculous tools.
Been trying to find a new show to watch. Been trying to watch Supernatural. Show is… damn. I have to force myself to watch each episode, just hoping that it’ll pick up, but it is too ridiculous. Six episodes in and they committed so many major crimes, or have been framed for them by monsters, and then they keep driving on without giving a shit. I don’t like either of the main characters, and the monsters so far are dull. Really hope it picks up soon.
Watch Game of Thrones, violence, sex, and no black people. It’s a win for everyone.

Spent Christmas watching the entire show. I can’t remember which season it was maybe 2 (the one where they introduce the Polish guys at the ship docks), it’s probably the worst season but the acting and character development is so good it can be forgiven.

At first I was like “White people? WACK.” But now it’s my third favorite season behind the 3 and 4 tie. Best show ever. It pretty much is a black person game of thrones.

Supernatural is one of my favorite shows of all time. The only significant flaw of the past 2 seasons or so is he noticeable lack of any hot ass on there. Dean’s old girlfriend (dark haired girl with the kid) has been the only memorable sexpot of the last season. Also, the season before this most recent one could’ve been the series finale, and it would’ve been the absolute best tv series finale of all time. It’s unfortunate they chose to continue with a new season, but it’s been surprisingly decent (*it’s nearly impossible to top what was done last season…)
Anyway, I actually enjoy the storyline, the 2 main characters, and of course the use of various supernatural/mythical beings (which is the main point of the show, hence the name). Sam and Dean have had to deal with pretty much everything at this point. Some of the episodes are more focused on being funny, and I think it succeeds there as well. One that comes to mind right away is the episode where there’s a shapeshifter wreaking havoc…and he likes to be classic movie monsters… In one scene where he has already captured Dean and is about to kill him…shapeshifter guy was pretending to be the old style Dracula (Lugosi version)… he’s interrupted by a ring of the doorbell… it’s the pizza man, since Mr. Shapeshiter put in an order earlier. While this character is staying in character as Old Dracula: "Excuse me…" and he dramatically whips his cape and slowly creeps over to answer the door. He even answers the door with the heavy accent: “Good evening…”…as the pizzaman is standing there like “…oook.” You have to see it for yourself… I can’t get enough of this show.
There was another episode this past season where “Sam and Dean” somehow ended up in an alternate reality dimension where they are the real actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, doing a show called “Supernatural”. Hilarious 4th Wall antics ensue.
*Also, there’s the violence of course. It’s surprising to see what they were able to get away on this show, considering it’s a regular network in prime time.
Saying Game of Thrones is like The Wire without black people is a meaningless statement. I don’t know what that means, The Wire is only The Wire because of all the black people in it.
