I just remembered that show called I’m With Her. How does some shit like THAT get made? How does something like that even get far enough to air in prime-time?! This was the whole premise: “A regular, non-famous guy has a successful movie-star girlfriend.” Yep, that’s it. I think it came on UPN at the time…either that or Fox.
Tales from the Cryptkeeper— how did that one make it to air? This is one of the most bizarre ideas I’ve ever heard… take the very “R-rating” worthy Tales from the Crypt… and make a Saurday morning cartoon out of it!? If you went back in time to when Tales from the Crypt debuted and told someone “heh heh, would you believe they’re going to do a Saturday morning cartoon version?”, folks would just laugh and think “he can’t be serious.” Even more wild is the fact that it was on ABC of all things…yeah…the normally family-friendly Disney-owned network.
haha, imagine if they did that with other horror shows or movies… like you turn on the tv one Saturday morning on Fox to see “The Leatherface Show!”, or Friday the 13th, Phantasm and “Hellraiser” cartoons, complete with a laugh-track like the old Hanna Barberra shit.
I also find it funny that the R-rated “Toxie” the Toxic Avenger got his own cartoon as well…Toxic Crusaders. Sheeeeit, that was actually how I found out about the character in the first place. I saw the cartoon and action figures before even knowing Troma films existed.
Birds of Prey— I miss that. I think CW was still “The WB” when it came on. This only lasted a couple of episodes, but it had some smokin’ hot girls on there… I remember Ashley Scott was one of them.

That show sucked but had decent eye candy which made it ok. I just hate how the last episode cluminated into a HUGE fight scene…and the soundtrack is Evanscence.
Oh yea the show was terrible as are all those super hero shows. Remember Cleopatra 2929? That shit was terribad to lol.
But yea Birds of Prey had some hotties on it, made the show bearable when there was nothing else on.
Edit: You know the only thing I’m not liking about Dead Space is the disembodied voice in ever chapter. It seems like its there just to be creepy and doesn’t seem to be coming from any kind of source. It’s just there. I’m finding it more distracting then creepy and it’s kind of pulling me out of the game.
Witchblade is the only show I ever saw where halfway through the series they find a way to reboot the series and never mention it again.
She goes back in the past to the first episode and stops the events, meaning the events of the first 12 episodes didn’t happen nor does she remember them so they were completely fucking useless.

More putrid Modnation fun— I just remade my character “Stool Pigeon”…he looks even more disgusting now…kinda resembles Falco from Starfox, if he were a living shit creature that wears a crown of flies. They also recently added a snow plow and Zamboni car types… I’ve created a “Puke Patrol” vehicle out of the Zamboni just now, and it’s great. The whole vehicle looks like it was created from vomit. I have to create the “used tampon cluster” monster next, which should actually be easy. (there’s cartoonish looking dynamite accessory pieces…re-color that white and add some blood effects and there ya go.)
