If it were 3 boys stripping a young girl, those guys would’ve been sittin’ in jail SO fast… police would’ve actually teleported them into prison somehow. It would also be on national news, and people would probably try to get the laws changed so the 3 boys in this hypothetical gender-switch scenario could be tried as adults.

Football touchdowns are still only 6 points (pending PAT, or 2pt conversion) when you’re losing. Tennis doesn’t automatically give you a set when you’re losing. Soccer goals still count as 1 point when you’re losing.

*Whoah, my baby Anne Curry is now officially the “co-anchor” on Today show. This is apparently because Meredith left. This is good news… since it means Anne will be on more often. Meanwhile, CNN realized they need to step it up to compee with all the hotness on the other morning shows…notice they have a new set design with a large couch, to make sure we get to see leg shots! Hell yeah. Now they just need more hot girls, because that one that looks kinda similar to Eva Longoria…that’s not enough.
*More wild Modnation races last night… I lost a few, but I also won. The wins were so great… some pure DOMINATION once again (*nothing like snagging the 1st place early and holding that lead for the entire race… oh yeah, and I managed a 3-game win streak so far before turning off the game for the night), though some other wins were close and possibly lucky. I love the psychology and quick strategic thought process required here… like what kind of settings will you use on your kart, what type of track it is…when to play it safe or unleash your weapon pick-ups any chance you get, or when to go for a sideswipe, how to defend against sideswipe attempts, when to use that boost energy vs. saving it for your shield (*brilliant idea, imo…to link boost and shield to 1 energy bar, so you’re constantly thinking about which type of usage is more important at what times), when you can get some drift points in, firing a level 1 or holding off for a level 2 or 3 version of it, dropping mines or attacking forward, etc. etc. Then there’s the stage hazards, like the explosive barrels or “Modbots”, and Devastators. It’s so many things… for me, no other racing game can even come close to this.
*ah, they’re doing a special montage for Anne Curry to celebrate her upgrade in status… this is definitely a front-runner for my list of The Eternals™.
They don’t give the winning player a chance to score 50 points in one basket either. Nor do they allow the winning team to do what they want after scoring three consecutive baskets without the losers retaliating.
I don’t like comeback mechanics but that’s a pretty bad analogy.
Who does this? Fighting game doesn’t do this, nor does basketball.
What the fuck DUDE. What kind of god damn example is this? I gave a example as to what one sport does, and what one so called e-sport does. You just gave an example of what neither does.
The point is nothing changes in anything that is considered legitimate sports. Fighting game isn’t. It’s a fucking game. We have the right to dislike stupidity. That’s why the system of it is stupid. Because it’s a god damn game. There is nothing at stake in fighting game besides pride. The money was has been very minimal until as of late. As it continues to grow, maybe we should take a look at other professions and what they did to legitimatize their craft.
Also that dumb fuck called USA “soft” for disliking handouts. Last time I checked soft was for who took hand outs, not for people who didn’t need it.
But it remains consistent. You build the same amount of super and stun throughout the game. It doesn’t change depending on the life you have or the life your opponent have. The same can’t be said for damage output. One combo can do more damage when your opponent has full life, and a smaller amount of damage when they are near death. This is to help the player that is about to die.
