Actraiser is still my favourite game of ALL TIME. Part 2 was also very good from a platform action point of view, but leaving out the god sim elements took away a lot of it’s charm.The Soundtrack was godlike and i’m in love with the Symphoic Suite record.
Also be sure to check out the snes game Hagane, that game is tight.
