Good point. Everyone with an empty armor slot should go for the kevlar, frankly. That’s Bious, gamerguy, Augustus, angelpalm (though why bother?), OZ, GR, and Syn.
Skizzz is playing mindgames now. He’s hoping GR will defend Syn and make the rest of you forget about scavenging the Kevlar.
If he gets his hands on that armor…it’ll take 2+ more phases to kill him and that would take most of us teaming up (stealing his armor, getting around his retal damage, and killing him twice).
It seems as though we are all airing out the laundry. As a result, this game as some pretty fucked up shit
- Bious with a hidden sword. That’s just plain wrong. Dude can kill on phase 1. Its +3 to boot which is slightly above your average weapon
- Godot’s ability. Dies if synonym dies. Godot started the game guaranteed to lose. All other players have to die for you to win. So if it came down to Godot and syn, Godot can’t kill syn without dying. In that scenario either syn wins, or everybody loses. If somebody knocked syn at all, Godot loses.
- Skizzz’s double scavenge ability should have a one phase cool down.
Well a part of godots ability is that he wins if syn does, I just didn’t mention that when bringing it up as it was not really relevant at that point. Still a weak ability though.
Yeah my ability is quite strong, should deffo be toned down in future games
I’m fine with yall not trusting me and going for the kevlar, it’s only smart. The one thing I am worried about though is us not having enough damage to kill syn if everyone scavenges the kevlar. If GR defends syn and syn defends himself that is 16 defense. Even if angelpalm steals one of their items its still 8 defense. I am only 4 attack so we need a lot more than just me hitting them to kill them.
We don’t know for sure if Bious has a hidden weapon…that’s hearsay.
And we don’t quite understand Godot’s ability yet. He must have some kind of win condition, if what we’ve heard so far is the truth about his ability.

Why do you consider them threatening? Because they are sponsored and have help outside of the arena? Or you think it’s just worth it to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak?

Regardless, in a free for all/murder everybody type game, your well being shouldnt be entirely reliant on another player. Maybe something like “If Synonym dies, your highest ability between def and atk gets halved next phase.”. So like if godot had +4atk and 2def, he now has +2atk and +2def the following phase, instead of dying outright. The reason I say this is:
A. Player with this ability could be reliant on a player who isn’t that smart, doesnt care about winning, or plays a somewhat suicidal playstyle like me. When I killed Vynce I was entirely expecting to be knocked the same phase or maybe the next. If Godot was reliant on me and I got myself killed this phase, his jimmies would be quite rustled.
B. Some players clearly like to make themselves a target coughsynonymcough. Godot was probably more than a little worried when syn made an enemy of damn near every player in the inaugural arena. This once again comes to how one player shouldnt be completely at the mercy of another.
C. What if Bious decided to blow his cover on phase one and kill syn for whatever reason? Godot is dead before he could even play, as a result of a skill he didnt even know existed.
Also, @Skizzz why dont you tell us whether or not syn was bluffing about his ability with that fancy research report of yours? I am genuinely curious as to whether he can saibaman a motherfucker that comes at him for the kill.
For me its a little of both of those reasons. I when I was first point at him to get him killed it was just because i feel like getting a two for 1 is pretty high value for all of us, but then seeing him get a reflex booster (one of the highest value defensive items) from a sponsor drop scared me quite a bit as who knows what else he can get.
I agree with you thatgamerguy don’t get me wrong i think that it is a weak ability, I was just pointing out that it is possible for Godot’s to win as opposed to what you had said in your earlier post.

But in hindsight it might have been a bit too vague.
Yeah it’s possible for him to win still, but his probability of losing is doubled. By default its already a pain in the ass to win this game. But taking some telepathic link death because someone else got ganked makes it even harder.
Double-edged sword. It makes winning easier also since he’s got a partner through the whole thing. They can coordinate without having to worry about backstabbing.
