@augustus I’m just curious, if skizz is the biggest threat why go after the code bros? lol we can kill them next phase, right?, but skizz seems to be playing both sides and waiting for who comes out on top, and soon he will be unstoppable. As the fog rolled in, every wandered around cautiously, unable to see where the others were coming from. The loss of vision made everyone on edge.
**JasonC **cursed his luck, as he eyed his bow. Unable to attack for the round, he looked to his side and saw a shiny set of Platemail lying there. He smiled to himself as he slipped it on, feeling secure with his newfound defense.
**Augustus **took cover behind a pile of rubble, keeping his eyes open and straining against the fog. As luck would have it, he found a Knife lying discarded on the ground, kicked aside by somebody earlier as they went for a bigger item. He picked it up in his hand, and clutched it tightly.
**Orochizoolander **scrambled, his newly acquired reflex amplifier giving him agility he had never felt before. He knew he had seen it around here somewhere… ah yes, here it is, he thought. He looked down, and saw a nice large stick of wood, with blades on each end. He picked up the Battle Staff, and it just felt right in his hands. This was what he needed to win this brawl. Suddenly, he heard movement behind him, and he spun around and saw **Bious **standing there. **Orochizoolander **swung his staff, narrowly missing Bious, who grabbed it and put a finger over his lips, mouthing “shh” to Orochizoolander. He peered around cautiously. “I’m here to help protect you, be quiet before somebody hears us.”
Sumazndude, cursing himself for losing out on the Reflex Amplifier, and nursing a bloodied face, scrambled to find something to defend himself. And that is when he saw it: a set of Body Armor. He slipped it on quickly, feeling its protection and boosting his confidence.
Pietastic, holding on to his dagger, decided to bolster his defenses as well, slipping on a set of studded leather armor that looked right out of the middle ages.
**Synonym **reached down for a pair of brass knuckles, and slipped them onto his fists. He flexed his fingers, and made them into a tight fist. He was ready to pummel somebody, especially after losing that reflex amplifier in the last brawl. He heard a noise, and turned around… to see GodotsRevenge, with a large tower shield, standing behind him. **Synonym **nodded. “Glad to see our alliance holds up. Good to see you, Bro.”
**GodotsRevenge **nodded. “I made you a promise, I intend to see it through. What’s our next move?” **Synonym **just smiled, a devious, sinister smile.
Using the fog as cover, **Skizzz **again made his way through the piles of equipment, now getting picked clean, looking for something to help. Through the fog, he saw a weird warm glow, and approached it cautiously. As he neared, he saw a set of Fiery Armor. It looked just like a normal set of clothes, but it was putting off a magical flame that lit the air around it. He slipped it on. The flames, though thick, didn’t hurt him at all. He hoped it would hurt his enemies. He looked down, and saw something odd sticking out from under a pile of rocks. He kneeled closer, and pulled it out. It looked like a piece of paper. And on it, he smiled, as it was just what he might need to win this thing…
**Bious **looked around nervously. Something was moving, just outside of his vision. He pushed **Orochizoolander **behind himself. “Stay close, something is out there.”
**Angelpalm **smirked, seeing **Bious **acting so defensive. But why was he protecting Orochizoolander? That seemed odd. He licked the corner of his lip, still fresh with blood from the fist fight he got into with Synonym. The man he was looking for was right there. And in an instant, he leaped on him.
**Bious **was tackled to the ground, as **Angelpalm **knocked him off balance. With a swift motion, **Angelpalm **grabbed the shield from Bious, kneed him once in the face, and was zipping off into the fog.
“Yoink!” he said, as he dissapeared into the fog.
“What the fuck?” said Bious, as Orochizoolander helped him to his feet.
**Vynce **smiled. Even though the M16 was useless in this fog, he knew nobody would dare to mess with him. He strode confidently to where he had seen it before all this fog flowed in, hoping it would still be there. And there it was, shining up at him. A force field belt, that would project a near impenetrable aura around him. Just what he needed. He kneeled down to get it, and then suddenly, he went stiff. He keeled over, and landed flat along the ground, his M16 falling to the ground.
**XthAtGAm3RGuYX **stood behind him, baton in hand, bloodied at the tip. It was covered with **Vynces **blood and some brain matter, which he promptly wiped off on **Vynces **clothes.
He looked down at the dead man, and spoke to his corpse.
“I am truly sorry for this friend, but that rifle of yours is more of an advantage than I would like you to have. It is you or me at the end of the day, after all.”
A loud bang echoed throughout the arena, signifying the death of a competitor. At nearly the same time, the fog rescinded, returning visibility to normal.
Everyone looked up, to see **Vynces **name in the sky.
