But no, they are from Galaga yes, which is a Namco game, BUT they are nonetheless used for post count here on SRK. Galaga is a very recognizable game and as such, if anything video game related can be deemed “fashionable,” then I don’t see why such classic icons wouldn’t be. Also, SRK is generally associated with ALL popular fighting games that see play at major tournaments; including Tekken, and even Soul Calibur, both of which are Namco games. It’s not like Capcom & Namco are industry enemies - remember Namco vs. Capcom (the ill-received strategy game)?
Anyhow, here’s my final attempt at this. I don’t think the shields make it look goofy myself, as someone said. You can’t get around it ultimately being “gamer-related” though, as it has to at least say “SRK” somewhere. If you feel that way, then by all means, just wear your Rocawear hoodie. I’d rock that shit as is though myself. The only other thing I’d want done to it, is for the stitching to be white, wherever stitching may be on the hoodie.
From what I’ve seen I think your looks the best and also represents SRK very nicely. I’d rock that one in no time and I’m not even a Ryu fan.
I have an idea for an SRK hoodie but I won’t be able to work on it until I get back from Japan on Jan.8th. Hopefully, this contest will still be going on then.
