I’m not being a dwarf, Rock. Fuck you.
Why would anyone want to play a half/elf rogue lol. You trying to be all diplomatic and shit bro?
We got Rock in our group, so we don’t do diplomacy…
So @Neesa is level 3 human.
Someone’s gonna have to talk that nigga out of dick swinging matches he can’t win.
?
I got 13 Wisdom, +5 Diplomacy, +5 Gather Information, +5 Sense Motive, along with all my Psychic shit that overlaps with it. I’ll be able to talk our way out of a confrontation with Tiamat himself.
Just build a Rogue who picks locks, hides, and finds traps really well. Lack of communication on our part is making the most random of groups.
Should I be worried that my party is talking about using their wisdom score to make obvious charisma checks? Or the fact that we were told before hand that we were going to do a dungeon crawl before hand and they are pumping up social skills?
I guess Neesa is a cleric huh? I’d feel a lot more comfortable if I saw her and Missing persons sheet lol.
Considering this is supposed to be a campaign, I assume it is more than a one off dungeon. I wouldn’t waste my damn time on a character for one off scenario.
Should stop taking this so seriously, it’s all in fun, not like Manx is going to body us when we have so many first timers. I know a DM that would put anyone through Hell.
Literal Hell.
We explored Hell.
No it wasn’t fun.
Someone tell @Azure to make a wizard
And I will laugh if Manx kills us all off just for shits and giggles.
I should do that some time.
You enter a gaping cavernous hole in the ground. You take rolls 19 points of fire damage.
Next round.
It’s dark.
You take rolls 23 Points of fire damage. Make a will save.
Those of you who rolled less than 28 completely blank out mentally except for the sound of constant screaming right within your head.
To the rogue who made the save: You see your party mates freak out and begin to scream as loudly as possible.
Next round
…
Once we got accustomed after our like fifth new characters, it was cool. Was like an under dungeon with a society at the top and different levels, and situated above one of the nine circles of Hell.
We were paid to explore and progress the depths and tried to hook up with lost parties, as long as we didn’t die that is. The concept I thought was interesting just the execution was painful.
Should run the Cthulhu RPG sometime for shits and giggles.
Better than what I gots, what other roles need to be covered? I think I’ve got the hang of this and can switch it up really quick.
Do we need a mage?
The Rogue is fine, just instead of dumping skill points into talking, dump it into sneaking/picking locks/trap shit instead. It’s a good role to fill out.
Max out that use magic device Missing Person, so u can sorta be a wizard.
@Azure - You got the rest of the day to get your sheet to me, or I start with the next available alternate.
Trying to put together something that resembles a backstory and it is just full of cliches lol.
My usual playgroup was always really lax on the actual roleplaying aspect of this game.
How deep are we expected to go with our background and personality btw?
EDIT: also, when the game actually starts, how are we doing it, skype + roll20?
As deep as you want to go, Canada.
Right now I think I’m going to go with play by forum post and the honor system on rolls.
Doing things in person is really hard due to scheduling, not to mention me having to actually put some damn clothes on.
My backstory is basically Jill Valentine + Professor X so it’s fine Canada man.
BTW, I already sent the message to The Question to take over for Azure. If he doesn’t respond, then you get the spot, CanadianDstryr.
@Manx, when do you plan on starting this, also what about letting us on the campaign world so I can make my back story mesh with it.
