Not thay mood needs backup or anything (especially considering it’s coming from me) but he states facts, you state feelings. If you go through this thread you would see that.
saying just cause he can burns him doesnt explain a whole lot, I was really talking about a 1v1 battle mega sableye vs garchomp without switching out, even calm mind wouldnt do much since garchomps can use earthquake or physical dragon attacks, and can learn swords dance. Even with recover sableye wouldnt be enough to heal him.

Lmao this can’t be real.
Do you know what being burned does to physical attackers?
Burn halves physical attack
Whats that you swords danced anyways? Eat this foul play
Mega sableye is a very hard check to garchomp. Move along
I could battle you and prove the point that you’re not seeing but that would be a waste of time.
Sableye has:
Recover
WoW
Protect
Foul Play
Those moves alone nullify chomp. You can only EQ and and hope for a crit. If you can’t understand that then I give up (although I should have give up a page ago)
Po used Uproar!!
it’s not very effective…
Po used Baton Pass!
Irondiksmasher came out!
Please stop invoking my name in this nonsense.
For people that claim to hate me, y’all sure do mention me a lot when I’m not around.

For someone who claims to hate Smogon you sure do mention it the most…
You can burn Garchomp and recover in his face with Mega Sableye. And yes while unfair is completely true. Still Dugtrio still imo is not easy to use but it can make stall unbeatable on the opening screen in a ladder format. It’s not a problem on SRK because we afford the opportunity to switch teams to counterpick.
I like Dugtrio because it’s a bit hard to play because of it’s stats. If you aren’t making good decisions you will probably lose trying to use him. Also, a thing of note is that he can’t trap Mega Charizard Y which makes it difficult to play against a team that uses him when playing Sableye stall.
I mean I guess the top of the ladder can technically go back to that team running Ttar, and Mega Zard Y. I feel like this new stall team is great but a bit flavor of the month. I’m in disbelief that stall is the strongest playstyle because it has so many weaknesses.
You know how hate works, right? If I were indifferent towards it, I wouldn’t mention it at all.
Much like Capcpom, I only go off about that shit when something stupid happens, which, much like Capcpom, happens about as often as your heart beats.
I havent seen many mega Sableyes use foul play since it does nothing with calm mind. Most of them ive seen shadow ball or dark pulse.
Doing my best to not use Sableye and go for a new core:

I like the Ferrothorn/Jellicent Core. Still needs work but I like what I have so far.
Pretty solid team, the only Pokémon I can really see giving you problems is Weavile, but he gives most teams problems anyway. Maybe a Colbur Berry on Jellicent would mitigate that somewhat?
Btw, what spread do you have for Mega Altaria?
You die to bird spam. Id change Donphan to Exca, Talon for Zapdos and maybe Ferro for Tangrowth
Sadly Donphan is outclassed in OU. Hippo does defensive sets better and excadrill does offensive sets better. I would try the exca > donphan switch first
sadly Donphan cant do much when theres rotoms, azumarills, and manaphy’s running around. Even hippos are scared to come out.
I wanted a rock setter that can spin and wouldn’t stack too many extra weaknesses (hence I didn’t use exadrill) Trades recovery for knock off and can phase if I really need be like hippo. Not changing ferro as I built around it and Jelly for the core. Zap i may consider but talon has taunt burn and priority recovery /brave bird.
I’ll make an alt team and see howi t works
Well you can also try rotom-w, gengar, Landorus-Therian with stealth rock. Even mega sableye can protect your talonflame from stealth rock
