LOl @ peeps here still doing the same BS arguments. What we need is something fresh. Bank is coming out soon which reopns a lot of pkmn to stuff. I do want to see if some of my old pkmn can still be used with the same “alt” strategies.

Yes one can argue a lot about this team but the idea is the have a few weaknesses as possible. Granted a LOT has changed since then as I am going to still utilize what this team was made for but of course tweak for the current metagame.
I will again say, unless I see a good reason to, I will keep this team as is. Moves and stats wo come later.
i was trying to make a gimmick team with a bunch of immunities lol.
right now i got thundurus (electric, ground), maractus (spore/leech seed, storm drain for water), heatran (fire, poison), togekiss (dragon, ground), gengar (normal, fighting, ground, toxic), and don’t have a 6th. possibly espeon for magic bounce.
yes maractus is a stretch, i didn’t flesh out the team at all.
reminds me of a gastrodon set i had to try to kill rotom W’s. storm drain walls hydro pump and ground type walls volt switch.
i infestation the turn they will o wisp, then toxic and scald until they die. some people run chesto rest though so i considered changing to water absorb/infestation/acid spray quagsire to lower its spDef a bunch and have a better chance of dealing damage to it.

Cacturne would be the better cactus pkmn though it brings in many weaknesses with its type. My choice for that kind of team would be Tangrowth!
How do you guys know which battle theme is which.
All I know is that music four is the gym theme and music ten is the elite four theme, which is my favorite.
i’ve actually tried a team like this but the main problem was that most pokemon that have a few immunities don’t resist much else outside of steel types, so it switching in is still a pain, you should use a normal type as normal and ghost are immune to each others weakness (normal to ghost and ghost to fighting) which will really help with switching
water absorb gastrodon is pretty good, it was the main reason why he was the OU water/ground pokemon last gen and not swampert nor quagsire, it’s not as useful do to the lack of weather wars but still pretty good with water types being super common
@Mood4Food Gastrodon has Storm Drain, not Water Absorb.
Music #.7 is the Team Flare theme and my favorite for serious matches. Otherwise I just choose randomly. My concentration usually drowns out the tune that isn’t #.7.

mega kanga is like an uber legendary playing around with normal pokemon, i’m using it showdown and i’m pretty much rolling my face over the buttons and winning
all anti-ban arguments have been wrong, so many people have been like “he’s not bulky, he can’t 2HKO ferrothorn, ghost types counter him, etc.” which are all wrong and don’t provide good arguments as to what can stop it and i keep finding other shit he can run that gets around all his problems (why the fuck can it run a special set better than starmie) and pokebank does nothing to change it
i think the comparison to SFII akuma was that both are really stupid and made the game really boring to play, while they could be beaten, required way too much effort or just giving in to using it, hence why SFII akuma is banned and mega kanga will be
