In terms of looking at the picture and thinking of a caption for it based on the content, yours hardly qualified, in fact just didn’t qualify. Just like another entry that just said “stairs”. I don’t think taking a SRK catch phrase and slamming it on any picture without considering what’s in the picture counts as an entry and in its own way is trying to win by favoritism. Once (or if) this gets bigger, I won’t have the option of putting them all in the poll anyway, so I might as well try to narrow it down to 5 every time now.

Considering that item just in front of the old geeser lady looks like a baby cart, yeah, it qualified.
That’s actually WHY i sent it, else i wouldn’t.
Won’t play anymore if you’re not taking every pm into consideration, that’s a dumb way of running a contest.
Number 5 isn’t even a caption anyway.

There’s a new rule for week 2, by the way: TEXT ONLY. I just tried adding the option of adding text to the picture yourself as a test run (and you would’ve seen this if you actually read the goddamn rules), but it does indeed give an advantage to people who have basic knowledge of Photoshop over those who have no knowledge.

Soitenly, but I’m sure they’ll still find room to complain that it looks nicer after adding it in PS… just shit I’m not willing to deal with, especially when I start giving out prizes.

Yeah, that’d definitely be fun to see in IMM. I remember how much I laughed when someone photoshopped a picture of Lance Armstrong’s sponsors to add “Uniball”.

But it’s not a caption at that point. It’s not my contest, but what you did is kind of cheating because the caption shouldn’t need to show who’s saying it. it should be obvious. Your speech bubble IMO is what won it for you because when I look at that pic, my attention is immediately drawn to the guy, in which case your “caption” isn’t funny. I’m not hating, I’m just saying in terms of what a caption should be, yours had an advantage.
