**RadicalFuzz **wielded his chansaw sword in his hand like a madman, charging directly at Hecatom. Dropping the lunatic act for a moment, **Hecatom **rushed off away from **RadicalFuzz **as fast as he could. RadicalFuzz laughed. He just wanted to see the psychopath sweat it. He proceeded to walk very deliberately and calmly towards the center of the island, where he knew the huge cache of items awaited. He knew what he wanted.
**Blindknagg **made a quick dart for the center of the island as well. Moments later, he saw the assorted weaponry and period items scattered in neat piles. His eyes caught something that tickled his fancy. “I should be able to make good use of this” he thought to himself. He briefly remembered back to what he and Bious talked about, and then reached out and lifted the giant Anchor, trying to escape before anybody came at him to do him harm. Though big, he was quite able to swing it with both hands; it must be some kind of magic anchor, he thought.
**Aidebit **leaped over the assorted swords, armors, shields, and explosives, and grabbed the one thing he wanted most – a scroll – and disappeared into the jungle. Once away safely, he unfurled the scroll, and sat down to read the scouting information contained in the Research Report.
The Chief worked his way carefully towards the items, trying to stay out of sight and in the jungle. The juicy items were towards the center, which he knew was a death sentance. On the edge of the items, partially obscured, was some sort of vial with a pink liquid. Quickly, he darted out, snatched up the Medicine, and disappeared back out of sight.
Missing Person, seeing Chief grab the medicine, took his change. He darted out towards the middle of the items, making a big jump over a rock… and nearly landed on AlphaCommando, who was holding a crossbow in his hands. Missing Person caused **AlphaCommando **to fall backwards, dropping the crossbow momentarily; he then reached out, grabbed a flintlock pistol, and was gone. Missing Person got back to the jungle, and looked at his gun – only one shot. Damn.
ForgeDigger, meanwhile, had appeared beside the defenseless AlphaCommando. She looked down, and gave **AlphaCommando **a smirk, placing the tip of her newly scquired Staff at his throat. AlphaCommando’s eyes went wide as he anticipated his death… and then she burst out in laughter, extending a hand and helping him to his feet. AlphaCommando picked up his crossbow, and he and **ForgeDigger **were off to find cover.
Hecatom, fresh from his scare, was feeling skittery. These weren’t like the people he had killed before. These people were dangerous. He gulped, and then saw the perfect item: a reflex booster. He grabbed the belt, and strapped it to his waist. Instnatly, he felt his agility kicked up a notch. He felt he could dodge anything. Even the world seemed to slow down around him. He smiled, feeling more confident, and took cover in a nearby cave.
**GodotsRevenge **surveyed the items. He had seem people come, go, grab weapons and armor, and even already form alliances. That wasn’t his style. But he did find something that made him smile. He snuck out, grabbed a Grenade, and was off. This would definitely come in handy.
**DarkGeneral **strode out into the items. He approached a large pile of armor and shields. As he got closer, he noticed **RadicalFuzz **standing on the opposite end. **RadicalFuzz **locked in on him, and revved his chainsaw sword. **DarkGeneral **smiled. “You don’t scare me. Come at me if you dare.” He took a step closer to RadicalFuzz. For a moment, the resolve on **RadicalFuzz **wavered, and **DarkGeneral **noticed him doubting himself. He stopped, picked up a large shield, and gripped it in his hand, his eyes never breaking from RadicalFuzz. And then, without another word, he walked away.
**RadicalFuzz **was momentarily shocked that somebody would act like that to a man with a chainsaw – clearly he could kill him if he wished… couldn’t he? Unless DarkGeneral had something up his sleeve. He shook off the thought. He strode forward, and saw what it was he was looking for: the Platemail. Just as he reached out to grab it, **JasonC **appeared.
“Hey!” said JasonC. “That’s my Platemail!” **JasonC **grabbed **RadicalFuzz **and threw him to the ground, the heavy Chainsaw sword helping to knock him off balance. The chain embedded itself in the dirt, getting stuck and stalling out. **JasonC **smiled, and reached for the platemail. Just as he was about to get it, he was tackled by RadicalFuzz, who had left the chainsaw sword embedded in the ground. He punched **JasonC **in the face, and then **JasonC **kicked him off. Both men stood up, squared off to fight.
At that moment, **pietastic **rounded the corner nearest to JasonC. He looked at the situation, and saw both men scrapping over the Platemail.
“Stop him, pie. We can’t let him get that Platemail! He’ll be too powerful” **JasonC **pleaded.
**Pietastic **stopped near JasonC, and looked at RadicalFuzz. “He’s right. You will be.”
**Pietastic **reached into his pocket. **JasonC **didn’t notice.
“But unfortunately for you, JasonC, that will be none of your concern.”
In one quick motion, **pietastic **pulled his hand out of his pocket, slamming a syringe into the neck of JasonC. JasonC gasped, and fell backwards onto the ground. He could feel the poison seeping through his body, causing his lungs to fill with fluid, making him unable to breath. Pietastic leaned down as the man wriggled on the floor, dying. **RadicalFuzz **took the moment of distraction to grab both the platemail, and his Chainsaw sword, and disappeared.
“I didn’t forgive you for what you did to me in the past” said pietastic. “And I wasn’t about to go out without a kill.” He stood up, **JasonC **very close to dead, the blood vessels in his eyes popping. **Pietastic **turned, and looked upwards at a location he knew would have a camera. He looked directly into it, and spoke to his family who he knew would be watching. “Don’t worry. I’m going to make it home.”
As he walked away, he heard the loud boom echoing over the arena, signfying the death of a player.

As everyone looked up, shocked to see somebody dead so fast, a loud horn sounded on the horizon over the ocean. Everyone turned to look, and saw a giant Pirate Ship steering in the water. Aboard the ship was Pimp Willy, along with a bunch of well dressed sponsors – including the mentor Bious.
“Let’s get this show going, shall we sponsors?”
The ship hatches on the side lifted up, revealing cannons pointing right at the island.

I’d also like to point out, Fuzz, that Alpha’s the only one with a ranged weapon. Whether you think he’s trying to kill you or to keep the powerful ranged weapons out of reach is a matter of trust. I think he’s being pretty sly.

I submitted the Staff scavenge several hours before you asked for it. Changed to the Crossbow because it seemed like the best item that wasn’t being scavenged.
