SRK Arena Hunger Games 2: Pirates Arena Day 14: The Chief is our Champion!

My initial idea was that we work together to take them out but then the cannonball hit me. No surprise there since I’ve been trying to get RadicalFuzz killed for the last 3 phases. Highly unlikely they will send me anything at this point.

I like the idea of reducing our chances of being randomly killed (yours and mine) but I don’t like reducing SoVi3t’s chances of being randomly killed. He needs more incentive to fire that gun at the most logical target.

Best case scenario is the skeletons target Fuzz and his retaliate kills 2 of them while you or SoVi3t finishes him off.

Worst case, you SoVi3t and I get randomed out, ForgeDigger and Fuzz team up on DG then Hecatom. They complete the Hunger Games story by falling in love and living happily ever after as champions.

All that said, I’m curious what FD has in mind…

I’m fine with reducing the number of skeletons, but we need at least one to remain to pressure SoVi3t.

Alpha, I’m disappointed in you, you know better than that. It should be Alpha-Sempai not Alpha-Kun.

The title of Sempai is awarded to the sponsor that notices her.

How about this. We kill the archer (4 attack, 1 defense, ranged) and pirate captain (3 attack, 2 defense, break) and leave the shieldbearer (1 attack, 4 defense, retaliate 1) to smoke out Sovi3t. I don’t think anybody wants 4 attack or 3 attack with break dictated by an RNG, and this way the shieldbearer alone can’t kill somebody. Obviously the remaining skeleton threatens Alpha and Chief in addition to Sov, but I have a hunch Alpha’s ability allows him some form of defense so he should be fine, and Chief can just scavenge some defense so he doesn’t get randomed out this phase by that skeleton.

I’m willing to attack the pirate captain, but we need to coordinate our actions for this phase. The archer should be easy to kill, basically anyone could do it, probably even Hecatom though I doubt he’ll reveal his ability just for this. How about you DG? It’s certainly in my best interests to kill the captain, as this armor is the only thing preventing Alpha from shooting me and burning my corpse, so attacking you would be a large risk for moderate reward. Alpha or Chief if one of you guys don’t want to scavenge for whatever reason you could do it too, just let us know so we don’t waste actions attacking the same target.

The sponsor that “notices” her? Yamada isn’t a sponsor Alpha, give it up.

Well since all 3 skeletons have the potential to kill me, it doesn’t matter which one survives to me. If anything, I’d want the strongest skeletons to be left alive.

Preference of last skeleton standing: Captain>Archer>Shieldbearer

And Yamada isn’t the only one that can notice their waifu. I suspect we have a couple of these in our waters as we speak.

That’s odd you’re not going to scavenge armor to prevent being randomed out by the remaining skeleton, but whatever.

  • You wouldn’t be attacking him, I would. You could be protecting me while Hecatom protected someone else to help us. Either @Chief or @AlphaCommando‌ in particular. But we still have the problem of working out the timetable of events and the skeletons. I’m up for possibly taking out a Skeleton today but we’ll have to work it out who’ll attack what skeleton.

@Hecatom‌ Where do you stand on all of this? Are you willing to help me? Your loyalty will be rewarded brother. *

The problem with that is, that requires a lot of coordination to get right, which means I’m relatively aware of what’s going to happen as well. If you’re going to hulk punch me in the face while someone’s protecting you I’ll attack you that phase. The 4 damage from my attack + 5 from Retaliate means you’re dead even if someone defends you.

But Fuzz you forget, Hecatom and bambina could both protect me, rendering your attack useless” you might say.
However, while we’re in this giant brawl the skeletons will still be coming and they’ll more than likely finish the job for me. As long as all of those skeletons are alive, Hecatom and I are the only ones that can defend and survive all three. Statistically speaking, I should keep the Captain around so he’ll break stuff and/or people since there’s a 6/7 chance of it not being me, but I’m a bit paranoid at the moment so I’m willing to shank him for us.

I actually wanted one of you two to take out a certain someone. c; Chief is obviously the better pick for this, but leaving the colossal titan over here at least vulnerable is a win for me. If anyone else (including the skeletons) attack him, he’s dead. Or maybe it just turn into a sort of blank check, if you will.

Believe it or not, I was against working together to kill the skeletons. Maybe I should rethink my options; they might be a bigger threat than I thought.

…Or maybe this is a better plan than I thought. I’m still on the fence. It’s very difficult for me to betray my friend, understand. Just thinking of the guilt hurts. :c

If I scavenge, that means you’re relying on both yourself and another to kill a skeleton, leaving you open to be attacked if DG can get someone to defend him. Plus, it relies on that someone else following through with their action.

Killing the skeletons is going to take a lot of teamwork, something that I doubt we’ll accomplish as the opportunity to betray the truce may be too tempting for either side. Not saying that you’ll necessarily betray each other, but knowing that the other party can betray you will probably result in some paranoid actions that leave skeletons alive.

There should be no guilt in these games. Everyone did what they did, formed alliances, defended or attacked others, with the knowledge that their only win condition is to be the last one alive. Betraying others and stabbing people in the back is what this game is all about, and it’s what makes it really fun. So if you think you’ll have a better shot at winning by teaming up with DG and killing me, go for it. I’ll argue that you don’t, but guilt shouldn’t be a factor affecting your decision.

As for the skeletons, one hit by the captain and you have either a 2 defense shield left or a 3/2 staff left, and are at 1 remaining defense for that phase. He’s the biggest threat IMO, but the archer is pretty deadly as well, as it can one-shot anyone but Hecatom and I.

To each his own. That’s a 3/7 chance of death for you, Chief, and SoVi3t, but if nobody else wants to take them out then I guess I’ll just turtle up.

If I could Scavenge and Attack in the same phase, this would be a no-brainer. But your plan relies on leaving the Shieldbearer alive whilst I scavenge the remaining armour in order to survive a random attack from it, meaning that you’ll need at least one other person’s co-operation for the ideal outcome.

Of course, your other option is to kill all three skeletons and hope that there’ll be another stage hazard to take care of SoVi3t.

This is the bday party I’m at today. If I was a bronie I could masturbate at the kids party

I don’t think so

Chief, what would you say to my deal? Same goes for you, Alpha. I have a feeling you’ve more power than you’re letting on.

If neither of them are game, then despite my proclivity not to… I’ll take you up on your offer, DG. Would we be holding this off until the skeletons are no longer a threat?

Has SoVi3t really pulled a Manhunter on us?

PW, if he’s not going to show up, can I just jump back in? Things are starting to calm down here and I think I can manage to finish this game out.

*Colossal titan? I like. I guess that would make Fuzz the Armored Titan. @RadicalFuzz‌ looks like you’re up to something. *

*I will like to strike while the iron is hot but I’m still musing over whether we should trim down on the zombies first or not. What say you? *

I’ll allow it

Alright, then I’m back.
