SRK Arena Hunger Games 2: Pirates Arena Day 14: The Chief is our Champion!

There’s nothing we can do to prevent that. DG’s only really got defense anyway.

But if you help them, I am going to kill you. Let’s not turn this into something that becomes an ancient grudge, shall we? I really do not want to kill you. It’s hard to turn on my homeboi. :c

I’m giving you until tomorrow morning to convince me not to, though.

What I’m saying is that if MP, DG and I team up, MP and I can kill Fuzz while DG defends me, making your threats worthless.

I’m not confirming that I plan on killing Fluff this phase, but I am considering all my options and their benefits.

Convince MP to consume his only weapon and have zero items and no advantage to speak of whatsoever going into next day phase. Then it’s a feasible option.

Just so you know, nested spoilers don’t work anymore. Clicking the next “Spoiler” just closes the first one.

That’s gay.

Joke ruined then. Each spoiler (8 of them) had one more  than the last one, with the final one being me just saying “No.”

Pretty sure MP didn’t pick up the Flintlock to keep it in mint condition.

Oh, and you admitted that MP is your #1 target when the ships dock, so I don’t think he wants you alive at the end of this phase.

Pretty sure MP didn’t pick up the Flintlock to have nothing on Day 3.

It’s not so much that I care about Missing Person being out of action, it’s that damned gun that I want out of the way. But I know he obviously won’t drop it because it’s all he has, same reason why he’d hesitate to use it.

You can still see the joke if you quote the post. It was a good joke ruined by Vanilla being weird, just like everything that is good in this world.

So @RadicalFuzz, is there a plan that benefits me more that doesn’t involve killing you?

I don’t see really what you have to gain by killing me. Making the platemail drop? I can’t drop it or give it to you today even if I wanted to. At best I could drop/give it to you tomorrow and then nab something else. Make the chainsaw drop? Yeah, sure, let someone with a relevant ability pick it up and use it better than me, great idea. Not accounting for your ability I don’t see that much gain for you, even if DG just ignores our loose alliance and protects you from Forge.

It would eliminate a large threat coming up to endgame. However, you have some valid points.

At the end of the day, I do want to reduce numbers in this game, and I’ve got a free shot at a couple of people. Ideally, I want to use my shot to take out the most threatening person whilst not disadvantaging myself.

It’s my items that make me a large threat, however. My ability just augments that, it doesn’t directly make me more powerful, and it is a known quantity, I can increase/guarantee scavenges for myself and other players (remaining ambiguous intentionally). If you off me Forge appears to be willing to wage war on you, and you’re on the same ship as her.

There’s also the issue of DarkGeneral. If DG was smart he’d say he’d protect you, wait until you got offline for bed near the writeup time, and then give Forge the greenlight to off you as you shot at me. After all, everyone not on his or my “teams” are the only targets we’ll be looking at for the next 3 days. Putting yourself in the crosshairs of five players is indeed a disadvantage, and a pretty severe one, but you don’t need to do that.

I won’t deny that I’m currently an extremely threatening player, probably the most at the moment, but I’m not necessarily in the best position at the moment just because I have a chainsaw. Chief has 4 attack and 1 retaliate, Medicine, and will survive longer because of his ability, for example. I don’t necessarily suggest you shoot at him, but I’m merely giving an example of another player who is also in a threatening position. The same could be said of DarkGeneral, he’s gathered just under half of the remaining players of a survival game into a squad. He and Hecatom are both building tankier than you can pierce alone, particularly if/when you get the Platemail and your attack drops to 2. How will your lone wolf strategy fare against someone with more armor than you can deal damage to?

What I’m getting at is, you’ll need at least one other person to help you kill off anybody with good armor. Having a crossbow for 2 damage with 4 armor won’t win you the game if other players have 5+ armor. I’m certainly not offering to kill Hecatom or DarkGeneral for you right now, we have formed a temporary truce after all, but keeping the guy with the chainsaw on a leash of sorts could prove to be more useful than killing him and hoping the guy who picks up the chainsaw agrees with your ideals.

Don’t attack me, and Forge won’t target you. DarkGeneral can’t hurt you, so you’re good defensively for today. You could one-shot both pietastic and Aidebit without issue, as they’re unaligned and it wouldn’t spark anything. Maybe stealth today and increase your options for tomorrow. 4 damage is nothing to scoff at, and a turn to scavenge without fear of getting attacked could also be very valuable.

I’d like to know two things before I make a decision.

MP, who do you plan on targeting today?
Aidebit, which two players do you consider to have the most threatening abilities?

My target’s a secret.

And I’m not a dumb bitch bragging about her dad’s lawsuit on Facebook. I can keep secrets to my grave.

Guess that means that you’re not targeting anyone that requires teamwork to kill. Just make sure you’ve read the last write-up and everyone’s equipment closely before you make a decision. Don’t forget that you can only kill people with 5 or less defense, 2 or less if they defend.

I’ve read it.

DG and Hecatom. If I had to expand to top four, you and BK. As it stands, I doubt anyone has the power to kill Hecatom, and DG… well, you’ll find out if I make it to next phase.

EDIT: Didn’t realize that I was bunking with Pie.

I hold no grudge against Aid or Pie so I have no problem with it.

Wait, does this mean that you agree with killing me, or does this mean that you agree with keeping me alive?

Had just woke up and I read it as “hold off on”. I don’t have anything against you but if it’s the best move for today I can’t promise that you won’t taste the anchor.
