Was about to have it shipped off when I realized I forgot some very important items. Today for sure… I hope.
Anyway, shipping is pretty expensive already. The people at FedEx were telling me the closer it gets to Christmas, the more expensive it will be. I recommend everyone save themselves some money and ship early.

That’s one of the advantages of early SS. Someone people say it’s kind of early for people to be receiving gifts but this way everyone should get them before christmas and save on shipping.

Shipping prices dont change do they? I though its pretty much the same price year round, its just that its quite busy during that time & may have delays…
I ship with UPS all the time and the rates have never changed during the seasons as long as you stick with ground shipment.
I think there could be a misunderstanding here.
When FedEx told me that, we were talking about how I need it there before Christmas. She could have meant that to get it there on time for Christmas will cost more the closer it gets. Didn’t consider it then, but yeah, that’s painfully obvious.
Still, it’s worth shipping early for.
Anyway, I’ll clarify this today.

Also, I spoke with the FedEx people again. They basically have several shipping options, just like any other company. They stated that as it gets closer to Christmas, the prices of those shipping options will increase, regardless of whether you need them there in time for Christmas or not. The price just goes up and that’s all there is to it.

The only reason I use them is because I constantly order stuff from Amazon and that’s all they use.
Nope. Just bought an FS3 from Amazon just this last week and they sent it FedEx. I think shipping through Prime had something to do with that, though.
