Down the line I want to collect more retro tech. Looking to buy a mini disc player and will pick up a HiFi music player soon. I want it for the car and maybe working out. I still have my old cassette player from years back. Still works.

tat reminds me…i have a ton of vhs tapes of toons and porn that i cant watch since…no vcr anymore. that said.
what i wanna do is this.
transfer my vhs recording to my pc.
is there a contraption that can achieve this?
because at first i was thinking of getting a vcr+dvd recorder which can sorta get that done…but if there is a vhs player that can directly play the tape onto my pc screen then i dont need the dvd recorder middle man.

seems i only need a vcr and a usb adapter. there are alot of vcrs on ebay for under 50 bucks but i need one with remote due to alot of my vids needing tracking. shit

VCR and a video capture card/device. There some cheap ones that plug in via USB.
