Finished rewatching the entire Lost series. Such a great tv show. Locke still my favorite character out of all them.

I have yet to come across another series that has such diverse cast of characters, back story, mysticism etc. Battle Star Galactica comes close.

probably Sightings…? I watched that on a regular basis; I even recorded some episodes. I think Sightings was mostly UFO/Aliens stuff though.

There was another one called Encounters. Oh yeah I was all over shows like that back then… especially anything dealing with UFO/Alien stuff… I’d watch hours and hours of that shit.

There is a modern show called “True Nightmares” on Discovery ID that is all about shocking deaths/near death experiences from the past. It is part documentary and part reenactment. Some of the stories are almost unbelievable and all of them are well produced. I highly recommend it if you are into that sort of thing.

I second that it might be something medical, possibly an infection of sorts. When I was in grade school my one friend had a little brother. At a certain point the little brother smelled fucking horrible even just being near him, even after he had recently showered too. Turned out that he had a piece of a hot dog stuck up his nose for a little over a month and never told anybody about it. They only found out because his mom took him to the doctor to find out why he smelled like shit 24/7. Kid was 8 or so so it’s not like he was some stupid toddler either

So basically, don’t be surprised if the smell is the result of a medical issue that’s never even been acknowledged

YES! That’s the show! Sightings was it! Once again @Million and his encyclopedia like knowledge of TV comes through. Intro was creepy. Man today’s alien/ghost shows don’t seem as exciting.

Some of them were 2 hours, if I recall… the paranormal/mystery stuff on tv was really going strong in the 90s, between that, Encounters, and X-files though it was more of a “regular” scripted show.
