my hypoadrenalism aka addison’s disease is pretty bad. unfortunately mine is tied, for whatever reason, to my circadian rhythm.
what that means is this.
if i wake up at 8am. i must must must sleep by 8pm. because the longest i can stay awake is 12 hours max before needing to sleep.
needing to sleep for the sake of my adrenals.
if i go over the 12 hour limit, little by little i start to get adrenal fatigued. for whatever the reason not getting enough sleep taxes my adrenals. if i get too adrenal fatigued…guess what happens. i have a life threatening adrenal crash. like i’ve had multiple times before.
so.
i will ask you.
if i have a 9 to 5 job right…and i, for whatever reasons, cant sleep the night before…what am i going to do?
cuz i cant show up for work the next day.
if i do…adrenal crash. automatic.
i’m going to have to miss work the next day.
what boss is going to accept the excuse that the reason i didnt show up for work was lack of enough sleep? huh?
my life isnt as simple as yours where i can just drink coffee and stay up…easy peasy problem resolved sir.
