Sheeeeeeeeit, the memories, man… Streets of Rage 2 was out and immediately took the championship belt as the #1 beatemup ever up to that point. Nothing else could fuck with it…especially when it came to the music. There’s tracks from that game that I still listen to on a regular basis today… “Good Ending” from part 1, the boss themes, Shiva’s theme… Man…even the character select theme was the greatest of all time.
