So I went by Barkade Friday night.
Nice place, definitely venuable. Only difficulty would be having them agree to be open during appropriate times. Would probably need to charge a venue fee for any events there, difficulty is ensuring enough people show up to make it worth our and their money.
What’d probably be a good idea is to just start doing a weekly casuals sort of thing throughout the days they are open first, to stir up some local interest, and possibly get new players into the scene too.
I don’t mind showing up at Barkade for casuals. I was there 3 weeks ago and notice they didn’t have SSIV:AE 2012. Have they updated that since then? If not I’m wouldn’t mind just donating my copy to them.
Hey everyone, I just moved to Springfield from KC, I’ve been playing fighting games for the last 4 years or so, my main games are SSFIV:AE, UMvC3, Project M, and a little bit of BlazBlue(CS)/Injustice. Are there still Monday night fights at Meta-Games? If so I’d be tooootallly down for that.

Just found out that I’ve got CJ Truth and Viscant in my SFxT pool (J35). Unfortunately for them they play each other in the first match.
Yeah, a couple of us are usually there on Monday nights (not myself though normally due to work 
). Definitely swing by!

I won’t try to read anything into my SF 4 pool, but I suspect that the number of Mexicans in my KOF pool may mean that I spend Saturday afternoon playing blackjack or something instead of dominating KOF as I’d planned. My lacking execution skills and fondness for a low tier character may also be contributing factors there.
Everyone should double-check that their pool assignments are still the same, since they were shuffled. I mean, I’m going to winner’s finals in KOF and SF regardless, but It would be bad if anyone were eliminated on a technicality.
Found myself in B7 in SF. I don’t recognize anyone there. In KOF I’m in H49.
I’m in H46 for KOF. Sang, you and I have an 8AM pool along with Xian, Air and MadKOF. 8AM is for real.

Mine is still A13. YAY 8am fighting! But Daigo Umehara is no longer in my pool. I guess my El Fuerte skills scared him away. At least that’s what I’m going to be telling myself.
Oh, you’re gonna be there too? Nice. Gonna have to find a way to say hey, maybe get some games in
