I have had an idea for one, but have been too lazy to do it.
Hey are we still on for tonight?
its on!!!
EDIT: the tourney this saturday will be post pone till we get some of our fight club brethren back!!!
Whoa, I live in Spokane and I’ve been looking for people to play here! I didn’t know anyone gave a shit about fighting games. It seems like some of you went, or maybe currently go to SFCC. I’m the very tall middle eastern (i’m not) looking guy who pretty much always wears jeans and a jean jacket and smokes a lot of cigarettes outside the math/science building.
Anyways, I only play SF4 but I’m down to at least try other games. And in about a week I’ll have an xbox 360 TE stick I can bring, assuming that the thing will fit inside the compartment of my moped! I’m sure I’ll suck on it at first cause I’ve never played with a stick.
In any case I really want to level up with some local talent because I’m hoping to go to EVO next year, and it would be preferable if I at least won 1 game when I go!
PM me if you guys need another dude for any SF4 sessions or tournaments.
Well we have been meeting on Thursdays around 8 PM and we have been largely playing SF4 and Tekken with a dash of BlazBlue. We got two TVs set up with a PS3 and Xbox.
Are any of you guys going to Northwest Majors?
I wish I could, but odds are I am moving back into WSU on that day.
I’m planning on going, I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to get a 360 stick.
I would go but I won’t be used to using a stick by then. Getting my first ever arcade stick in a couple days (TE). Either way I’d probably go 2 and out, but I’d at least like to believe I had a shot at winning a game or two.
I’m not sure about the rules, but most tournaments let you use any kind of controller you want as long as it’s wired. So a wired pad should be fine. Even if your chance at winning is low, it’s a good opportunity to level up, as well as just have a good time and meet new people.
I bought the TE because my fightpad failed on me. I wouldn’t even know how to use the regular xbox controller anymore.
What’s wrong with the fightpad? If the PCB still works I might be willing to buy it from you.
Well I just picked up MvC2 for my Xbox.
I also found out the problem we had with the downloaded games is that we needed to connect to Xbox live to get them to work on the other Xbox.
I’m not sure what a PCB is. The dpad barely works. I think something inside broke or something. Certain directions on it only register some of the time. It’s in horrible shape.
The PCB is the electronic circuit board inside of the controller. If that still works I might have a use for your controller for a future stick project. Do you want to sell it? If you’re gonna be at the next meet go ahead and bring it with you.
Hey guys just checking to see if we are meeting tomorrow.
Yup, we’re still on.
Anyone going to Northwest Majors?
Like I said I’m planning to, I just gotta figure out how I’m gonna get a stick. I think I’m going to try and dual-mod the stick I have now.
GGs to everyone last night, this shit’s getting more serious. Also props to Loyal for fixing all of our stick issues:china:
