Just the Spawn prelude. I only read Spawn in TPBs so I’m up to wherever the sixth book left off, but after the prelude I have a gist of what is going on.
Not the biggest Image fan but this looks different enough to be a lot of fun, with all of the artists drawing their own characters in the comic and all.
If only Liefeld was not involved but oh well.

First issue sold out!
It’s one of those serieS that’s hard to rate after only reading the first issue but all in all it was pretty good. Very new reader friendly, especially to me since I’m not familiar with a lot of the characters in the issue. The artwork did seem a bit cut and paste. The inking did smooth things over as much as possible. I’ll be back for issue 2!
Issue 2 comes out next week! Wait I don’t have to wait 3 months for another Image book? Sano faints.
