Yeah this is exactly how poker tournaments pay out which should be used for 100+ player tournaments. I’m actually surprised the bigger tournaments never thought of this before.
Good for bigger tournaments that have the cash flow/sponsorships. I was thinking about paying out like Top 8 per each pool (if the tournament is big enough).
For those who don’t look at the srk announcement thread. SRK will be down this weekend for server upgrades. Just passing the word.

SRK is back up with lots of bugs. All the links on the first post are currently not working. I’m trying to find out if I have to hunt them all down again or not or if they will come back up on there own later.

I hope they will come up on their own. Will you let us know if they do? I have a list of bookmarks I’d rather not change if they’re just going to be reverted.
Yeah I’ll keep here posted. Worst case scenario I have to go hunt down all the tournament individually again.

Figured out why the links to an SRK thread or post aren’t working if they were posted before the update.
If I click the link to a tournament that is posted I get this (this is just for example)

If I browse to the actual thread of what it is now, I get this in the address bar

As you can see, 2 completely different links. I really hope they go back to the old scheme of how they had the threads organized if not I will have to hunt down the tournaments threads 
This would lead me to believe that it would be the same to those who have bookmarked specific threads or posts.

I’m posting a lot in here lately. I haven’t gotten an actual reply back about the thread links so I’m going to assume things aren’t looking to good. I’ll do what I can to find the links of the tournaments that are posted on the front. The search function doesn’t work either so we all have to hunt down everything.
I’ll give it till Friday and then from there I’ll start looking around over the weekend. For now though the only tournaments with updated links will be the ones for this very weekend.

Hey, OP, got a tournament planned June 27th in Bentonville, AR. Arkansas Armageddon we’re calling it.
I am just going to leave this here…still some updates to come, but hype for the most part.
I had to re-create the tourney thread… because the thread was never created and just the event. So know you are able to post, inquire about the tourney and etc…
