Anyone wanna play anything this week? Preferably Marvel? 9/10 People online don’t know how to play.
Hey all. Just wanted to apologize for my recent inactivity. I’ve had a lot of stuff going on. My research is really picking up, presenting at various places means I’ve constantly gotta be updating posters and such. GRE general test finally down but coming up soon is the GRE subject test for CS, so I’m studying for that. Not to mention grad school apps that aren’t going to do themselves. This month has been new member education in my fraternity also. All that + girlfriend doesn’t leave much time for getting out to stuff, but I’m spending as much time as I can training. And not just in SF! Since I did so well at the last marvel tournament, I got myself a copy of the game and now I’m actually practicing it. With a top tier team, too – practicing online is impossible though so I’m excited to get out to whatever I can get out to next.
We need to schedule another tournament.

I’m pretty much available every day now except for tournament days and most Thursdays.
And I’m definitely attending NEC. First East Coast major for Ultimate? Hell yea.

Saturday works for me. I just have to be back home by around 8:30pm to play a football game.

Good session Chris. Sorry I couldn’t make it more interesting. I have little experience against people who actually know how to play. I also hate playing keepaway and playing against keepaway so I’m glad I got to practice against someone with great defense and a dumb assist (Tron).
It’s okay man, at least I don’t use Wolvie or Phoenix! Seriously tho I’ve been fortunate enough to get out there and I have faced some really good east coast players in the past and it’s helped me improve, even though I spent a ton of time with my team in training mode (probably more than I’d like to admit) it makes a world of difference getting out there and playing offline matches with anyone really, all about that leveling up through experience. With Ultimate on the horizon I’d like to think we’ll all have cleaner slates to work with. But yea thanks for having me over! Hope we can get a larger group together in the future so there’s more styles to play against!
