yeah i figured out that hotaru grab cancel. you almost need to hit LP+LK at the same time as doing the throw, and then once you get it down it’s easy. I couldn’t figure it out for a long time either. Can you combo off of it mid screen?

the break is corner only but she has another way to combo off the command grab for midscreen use. just cancel into b divekick, land df+C bnb

maybe it’s just me but i’m having a lot better lucking hitting the whole d/f+C -> super with hotaru after doing a combo ending with f+B, qcf+B break instead of d/f+C into D out of stand break. Before it was just much harder to connect but now that I know the new string (i hit the command button by accident, go fig) it’s much easier to combo into that lvl 2 super.

any decent combos or special things i should know for mai?

Out of curiosity, do Moriya and Hotaru still have messed up DP inputs?
