Incredibly basic. 2 player room max, quick match or list whatever matches are open at the the time between regular and ranked matches, basically like all of SNK’s previous XBLA outings, except the netcode being much better(so far)

I don’t think thats that ugly. I like how i can see people’s faces in much more detail now (though I’ll admit some of them look weird, Hotaru and Haohmaru come to mind) Still looks damn sweet on a 55inch LCD
Oh man, Poon our match dropped like 2 seconds in, kinda disappointing. It is pretty smooth when it actually works though.

wow that confirms it then guar. either every one of my 20 matches was a lagswitcher/ragequitter or the game completely craps out on tag outs and mashed inputs.for those keeping track it was all player matches under 150 ping quitting at mostly mashed inputs or character swaps. and yes it’s THAT ugly. blown up smooth filtered bodies with redrawn faces. gay as hell.

well shit. I tried some marvel for testing’s sake and xbox live is dumping me out of everything midgame regardless of initial ping ratings. random. disregard everything i said in the meantime, except about it being ugly.
This game is fantastic and the netcode is just awesome. I always wanted to play this game but I dont own a PS2. Just finish playing for about 2 hours and it was silky smooth online.

Check out the official thread, lots of great impressions. Not one negative post about the netcode. I was just playing for about 2 hours and it was butter smooth online. I was finding matches with pings 50-110, great games!
Neither. Same netcode used in previous SNK XBLA games. IE fucking terrible.
My experience is one great smooth match followed by a lagfest in the next (with the same person). It’s most likely host advantage or some shit.
