Rose puts opponent in corner: U2 + Red Focus = Good Luck

Rose having access to both ultras:
U1 at 66% = 328 damage
U2 at 66% = 79 each orbs

My only concern is that her combos into spiral are not a true blocksting. She can still be hit before her spiral. So she still struggles from the same problem

Just wondering if you csn combo into anything after a Soul Spiral cancel if it hits?

a soul spiral cancel ? you mean a fadc’d soul spiral ? you only get a level1 FA out of a soul spiral so no, it won’t combo afterwards. but i may have misinterpreted.

if you hit your opponent high enough with your spiral or if you trade with it and the opponent is above you, you can combo with soul throw. But nothing after spiral FADC

So after being frustrated getting my ass whooped by some Juri player who only beat me via landing unblockables, I did some testing and I was able to get out of her unblockable setup using U2.

It was corner f.throw > dash > lk pinwheel > jf.HK. I’m not aware of unblockables outside Juri’s so if anymore has any other unblockables to test maybe you could test which ones this works on o.o

Trying to get a better Rose. Got a few questions.

I love throwing with Rose. Does she have any tick set ups? Jump in attack into a tick?
Does Rose have any safe jump options after her Soul Spiral or Soul Throw?
cr. HP xx L Soul Spark, what’s the input you guys use after the cr. HP, since Rose’s fireball is a half circle forward motion.
Soul Satellite. I’ve been using the Ultra too defensively. What offensive options/mix ups do I have? What can I do after/during if they block?

as an anti air ? you mean, reacting to a jump in with soul spiral ON PURPOSE ? i can see how ex-spiral would have the start-up to actually do it, but it doesnt seem like something i would go to. for long range jump-ins maybe ?

It seems better for long range jump ins and the ex would have to hit the opponent when they are above you. When i used it as an anti air yesterday, i was able to combo into U2 for 424 damage. You can only combo from her medium and hard versions of soul spiral and i think it might work to punish jump ins from time to time.

It almost always trades, even Ex version, but can be viable if you have a signifigant life lead and want to keep the opponent out

You have to time and position it. If hit them at the very top of the spiral it wont trade.

Im struggling with T.Hawk matchup. Can’t seem to win Suggestions?

The matchup is a 7:3 - 6:4 in the “Hawkuments” in Rose favour.

Work on your blockstrings so that you never get SP’d out of them. Fireball a lot but understand it has a startup and you will get dived if you are dumb. SOUL THROW BEATS CONDOR DIVE.

Picking up Rose and having a hard time any tips? Finding it hard to control space with her effectively and starting up some offence. If I’m behind by a chunk of health it seems impossible to come back with just pokes and I can’t really apply safe pressure with her.
