only thing to counter most of them is just side step throw - especiall against raph and other sword spammers.
add me if anyones up for some player matches. seems to me like the level of good spirited players is on here instead of playing with random haters

It’s hard to say who’s better right now, Cervy or Sieg. Sieg can really rock your Guard meter quick but there are many ways to get in. Try iGDR (Instant Geo de Ray). You do quarter circle back, B as fast as you can. The distance will be shorter and he will flash white. It’s the bread and butter of Cervy players (been playing him in tourneys for 4 years, trust me). Also, online, as scrubby as this use, use the Back B+K (teleport slam down move). Online, it’s hard to get around. Offline, use the quarter circle back and then tap forward as fast as you can. It’s called iTP (Instant Teleport). It’s a JF (Just Frame) where you can literally teleport behind or in front of the char at lightning speed. It’s hard to do consistently, but if you master that, you’ll never ever have spacing issues again.
Trust me, there isn’t a single char in the entire game who can keep him away. He’s the one guy who can be anywhere, anytime. This is by far the best version of Cervy yet
To everybody complaining about Cervy spammers and Raph spammers, trust me, I agree. The way to deal w/it is as follows: Block, punish. Cervy spammers love BBB. The last B is extremely unsafe. Punish it with something fast. If they do downback A, punish that too, you should be able to see it on reaction, it has a unique animation.
IMO, Cervy, Yoshi, Sieg, Amy, Cass are very good in this game. Lizardman gets an honorable mention also. The game is very new, stay open minded about it.
Lag is a different story. I have piled on lots of losses because I couldn’t punish something or SS because of lag. That can never be fixed. Don’t take ANY of the clowns with massive wins and few losses seriously. Offline, 80% of the people online would get handled by me and the other sc2/sc3 vets;)

GG to Ceirnian, your Nightmare is hard as fuck to get around. Stupid punch rushdown seems to go through everything, including your guard. 
GGs, was a fun… few hours? Time flew by so I don’t even know how long we played. Was interesting playing Hilde online to say the least… I had just started learning her on stick, but I haven’t gotten ahold of a 360 stick yet so I had to set up my pad just so I can try to charge / attack still. Ah well with time I’ll get her setups / combos down.
Xbox Live is pretty cool so far, glad my Xbox finally came in on saturday so I can practice up against live people while at home. Luckily for me I’ve played against a Kilik and Mitsu offline so I was somewhat able to react to some of their strings (fuck you Mitsu and your sweep, I still can’t read that).
The grimstride punch that parries attacks is high, you can duck and punish it… but online it’s harder to react to. :lol: Look forward to playing you (and Infini?) again.

Yeah, cool man. I’ve got a headset too, so we can finally (after months for playing SSBB through IRC) actually talk. Infini’s at work ATM (I have to go a bit later), but we’ll both be here later on tonight. He plays a mean Sieg.
Fall stuff is coming in for work, so they want me to come in from 8pm-5am to help unpack all the boxes / set shit up. I have Tuesday off so expect me around then. Hopefully the tail end of this cold dies off so I don’t randomly cough while talking.
