remembering old martial arts films and their tendancy to upgrade their weapons/arts with special abilities makes me look forward to telling standard battle to go fuck itself from now on and join the world of Speacial Battle
I hope theyve improved the customizations and made it easier to configure. if they found a way to publicisize it then I see something special happening
I would like it if they can make the create a soul with the ability to have a nuetral stance that’s independent of the weapon chosen (maybe I want a bo fighter that does tkd foot bounces when they’re in a neutral pose, or a sword fighter that stands there just glaring at your ass with their drawn blade down by their side in Ivy’s stance, rather than Mitsurugi’s stance), and lots of outfit options (even modern stuff, but that’s reaching a bit too far), tekken-style costume item-exclusive attacks and throws (maybe change your unblockable/critical edge into a Soul Edge/Blade version critical edge autocombo for the same damage), etc.

We didn’t get to see Xiangua’s daughter (forgot her name) in that trailer unless I missed her.
Daishi said we’d be getting 4 characters, so she probably isn’t there.
She’ll likely be in the next reveal though.
