Is it wrong that this sounds kind of silly to me? I thought the ban was kind of lame when it was a logistics thing, but it made sense. Banning a character from a game that hasn’t even launched yet because you heard he might be overpowered kind of seems like pushing it.

I am in a character dilemma tho. I think I just go Ivy Nightmare but IDK. Maybe Pyrrha.
But he’s not a character. That’s why he’s banned - hopefully. Fuck create-a-soul. What’s so great about Devil-Jin that makes him worth all this crap.
If someone loves playing DJ more than they love sane SC rules, maybe they should play Tekken instead.
But whatever, Namco screwed up and now we’re in this mess. Why didn’t they make one of the mimic models a DJ-style-only character anyway? We didn’t need a million mimics (and none of them are Olcadan! Outrageous)
Its because no one knows anything really…the game isnt out yet so no one has really gotten the chance to test stuff…but alot of Salt has been brooding because Ivy lost all her stances…shit when i played her at the release party i was fucking confused on what moves were still there or not, in the end i just stayed with Natsu…

If they had just stuck by what they said at first, I would have understood it. It makes sense to ban a create-a-character only style even though it sucks that you’re losing a style because it would be hard to set up. Now he’s like half banned because they think they can get around the logistical problems, but the guys that made the player’s guide think he’s overpowered, or at least that’s my understanding. Banning something and calling it overpowered before the game even drops just seems silly to me.
I was personally hoping that Charade would be one of the mimics when the rumor started. He was always one of my favorites in two.
Friend of mine has had the game for a week or two and he was telling us the main problem with Devil Jin is that create a soul makes his hitboxes inconsistent among different models and depending on how you make him he’s strong or weaker.
Also apparently he deals retarded Tekken like damage.

I don’t know about OP but she seems the best of every character I’ve played so far. Mad damage, range, good frames, and lot of shit starts combo’s you wouldn’t expect.
Bleh they nerfed summon suffering to the ground, some characters B throws deal more damage than it.
Alpha has a little bit Setsuka’s move list i’m going to try playing online to see if thre is any one there and to test the net code
