The only I’m holding on to now in regards of buying this or not is the character customization. If CC characters are allowed in tournaments then I’ll finally have a character I want to play with since Kilik is now a half Edge Master for no reason, Sophitia’s been scrapped, and Setsuka’s gone. I do wonder though if this game will have the same issue as T6 where only player 1 can use their customized character. Namco should know not to make that mistake this time.

CASes aren’t allowed in tournaments. As to your points about Sophitia and Setsuka, Pyrrha Omega reportedly fights like Sophie and Alpha Patroklos has Setsuka’s fighting style.

Yet three hit ring-out Yoshi was a-okay. Hilde was pretty retarded, but I like that her overhaul in SCV kept the same basic idea and moves she had while adding a shit ton of interesting stuff to the mix. I look forward to giving her a try in SCV and the first 24 hours people calling her broke and ban worthy.

I’d appreciate if you could find out exactly how the just guard mechanic works. I know it’s pressing and releasing the guard button just before the hit, but I don’t know if it guards both high and low, how precise the timing is or if you can hold the guard button for a little bit.

I know. I was pointing out the fact that alternate versions of the same character have been a part of the SoulCalibur series since 1998. Siegfried and Nightmare in the original SoulCalibur are the same person with different moves (albeit not as different as the ones in scv).
