Sons of Anarchy

Wtf happened to people? Did they go into hiding? Posts niggas.

I don’t think there’s much to post about, really.

Like you said, the show we got was not the one we were promised… Things happened, people died, and that was pretty much it.

I would have rather jax be taken out in some fucked way

It works

I liked it. Drea de mateo so hot

A show i loved but it’s done. Cool ending

Not as good as shield or the wire, but still good

No one is talking about it because no one like Jesus Christ Teller

Yes blood and body

Man that stuff was out there

I’ve been laughing pretty damn hard at stuff since SoA ended, this being one of them:

An Interview with Kurt Sutter* (not really but still sounds authentic)
Question 1: When did you first come up with the idea for this finale?

KS: Well, I was taking a break from raping and pillaging, and it suddenly came over me: I knew how the series would end. This was midway through the sixth season. Fucking c*nts.

Question 2: So, we had a few loose ends heading into the finale. How did you decide how to handle them, and why did Jax shoot a bunch of people?

KS: I’ve always thought of Jax as a tragic figure, someone who tried to go legitimate but couldn’t. He ended up hurting his family, but everyone still loves the shit out of him anyway, and he also has a gun, so I guess the logical step would be to have him shoot everyone. Because you see, I didn’t want a fucking burden on my fucking shoulders to cater to every fucking television critic out there with some nuanced bullshit.

Question 3: Why the homeless woman? What does she represent?

KS: I just proved to all you dicks that I can plan ahead with my shit. She was everywhere in the earlier seasons, and at first, I just had her there because I hate homeless people and I thought we’d all have a good laugh, but then I realized she could end up having symbolic meaning. She’s the Reaper, obviously. Did you not pay attention to that long ass zoom in there?

Question 4: What’s the meaning of the final scene?

KS: Jax realizes he is Jesus Christ. When he sees Vic’s face, he sees the face of an angel with the reaction time of a 95 year old man. He gets his shit together, understands that Mr. Mayhem is the name of the guy who ass fucked him the first time he sat on a motorcycle, and he closes his eyes because he is at peace. When he talked to the rock earlier, he made his peace with J.T.

Question 5: What was your favorite part about the final scene?

KS: Choosing the song.

Question 6: I noticed there was some iffy CGI there. What was up with that?

KS: Too much time spent choosing the song.

Question 7: Any regrets there?

KS: Not having Katey Sagal sing the song.

Question 8: Talk about the crows. Why are they the final shot?

KS: I used to strangle birds whenever my cast members didn’t get nominated for a fucking Emmy. Also, I think another key thing to note in that scene is the blood creeping in on the edge of the shot. The blood of Christ, which represents the blood, sweat, and tears of our cast and crew. I get off on blood, too.

Question 9: How was your experience directing?

KS: I actually flew through the air to get those amazing final shots. I think it came out beautifully, especially as I was panning over the police cars driving at not-a-car-chase speed.

Question 10: Why the Hamlet quote?

KS: I’ve always thought of Shakespeare as high class, and I’ve always thought of this show as high class entertainment. It’s always been about Hamlet, even if it clearly has not been about Hamlet for a while. You see, we draw from the world of cnt Shakespeare, not just Shakespeare. And cnt Shakespeare is like a Machiavellian tragedy of Michelangelo, with Lady Macbeth as a stand in of sorts for the King Learian divide between Othello and the Romeos and Juliets of the world. True love prevails through the Old Testament, and Jesus Christ brings the Shakespearean ideals of motorcycle riding to the Macbethian Midsummer’s Night Dream.

I’m intelligent. Keep the fuck up, man.

Question 11: What did you take from the set, and the show in general?

KS: A mental image of Juice’s ass and my arrogance.

Question 12: How much did you have to cut from the finale?

KS: 16 hours and 45 minutes.

Question 13: What’s next for you?

KS: Getting pissed about people criticizing my masterpiece.
