IN all honesty the jazz made it awesome. It felt like I was watching some grown up shit. I mean, look at marvel 2, that shit was for grown ups and full of jazz.

Gemma has caused the deaths of multiple innocent people, dragged the club into a war with the triad and the blacks. Inadvertantly caused the mayhem vote on her son.

Only reason why Uncer is on her side is because of that thirst. But I doubt he will be tryin to get on once he finds out what she did. Hell it is partially Uncer’s fault for giving Gemma the wrong damn information.
It made perfect sense when you consider where Jax was headed at the time. He wanted to remove himself from regular gang bullshit and make it so his club had money to enjoy hoes and riding. He’d seen hella people drop and here you have a gangbanger who made it to old age and out of the bullshit. Unfortunately Nero hit that ruinous pussy so his shit was destined to get wrecked. As far as I can tell, Pope also died because he fucked Jemma. Half Sack probably jerked off to her and unless Marx loves them white milfs (and you know niggas do) then he should be ok.
People dying and I feel nothing… That’s not a good sign for a show that has two episodes left. They did an amazing job at driving characters into the ground until no one cares for them any longer.
That has been a problem with the show for a minute now. I think Sutter may have been trying to show us how desensitized Jax is towards death but ended up making us stop giving a fuck. This whole season has been nonsense on top of nonsense.
The show peaked at season 3. Then it just got progressively more stupid.
Juice was one of my favorite characters… When he died, I didn’t even flinch. When Opie died, however, I was salty as hell. When Wayne died, I didn’t flinch. Even when Gemma died, the character who I’ve been wishing death on for the longest time, I didn’t even cheer. Shit is wack, man… They spent half their time building an empire, and the other half tearing it down.
I was actually shocked Unser bit it, like a sadder version of Heisenberg.
It seems no one is talking about August coming back, of course with Barosky, Connor, Tyler finally having backtalk/balls, Byz-Lats, that snake Oso, and possibly Grim Bastards (that unwritten bylaw?) it might be easy to overlook that tiny detail. If Happy has to go, August is the one to do it. Everyone else I could care less. Montes could get ran over by Nero’s lowrider on accident for example.
Next week should be 2 hrs without commercials if everyone’s coming back. Maybe Connor reached out to Zobelle to learn how to disappear from SAMCRO…

Another thing that took away the impact was how bad the CGI was for both gunshot wounds.
Not as bad as TWD’s CGI, though.
-Even the way they died was also uninspired. Boom, gunshot to the back of the head with horrible tiny exit wound …come on. When you think about shows like Boardwalk Empire, The Wire, Breaking Bad and Sopranos there were some REALLY memorable death scenes. Sons of Anarchy just offed 3 mains flippantly like they were goons.
-Nero showing up to stop Jax would have been way more powerful than Unser. By this time Unser had pretty much given up on everybody anyway whereas Nero was more emotionally involved and relevant.
-Gemma rotting in a cell would have been a more fitting punishment. They could have had her thinking about the family that she destroyed and how she ruined everything, eventually offing herself.
This is all fine and dandy but it doesn’t matter since Gemma lived longer than she should have. I wasn’t even all that choked that she died, just surprised that he actually pulled the trigger. You and DeQuantavious are right though: all these deaths should have an impact but they sure as fuck don’t.
When was the last time the thread was sad when somebody died? Opie? Fuck man…Opie.
