Looks like we’re definitely getting an underwater level unless Eggman is making flying fish robots now. Next 2 update will be in 5 days.
Don’t you feel that sometimes you just need to run away?
I haven’t seen this note about Sonic’s run animation in Sonic 4 in this thread:
I’ll pick one or two from a few games.
Sonic 2:
- Every level after the Chemical Plant zone was a fond memory. Such great designs and color schemes.
- Tails coming to scoop up Sonic to rush him up to Dr. Robotnik’s space shuttle so he could hang on and get into the Death Egg.
Sonic 3:
- All the levels and music in Sonic 3 are great to me.
- Dealing with Knuckles in the last Zone.
S&K:
- Conquering my fear of the Lava zones. I acquired a fear of lava after playing enough games back then.
- The first zone. I loved, loved the way the leaves and everything would change color as you’d get deeper into the second Act. So creative.
Sonic 3D Blast:
The effing music.
Sonic Adventure:
I think my fondest memory is actually getting a chance to beat the game for real and fighting Chaos at the end. I, for whatever reason, could not beat the game as Sonic during the 24 hours of Dreamcast gaming when it came out.
Sonic Adventure 2:
The music.
Sonic Rush:
- The Music.
- Boosting on the rails making me go so fast that I destroyed not only the spikes on the rail but the enemies flying above me. So bad ass.
- Just trying to master the levels was great fun to me.
That could just mean that something like the speed shoe will be making a return. In reality, using that power-up, in conjunction with these speed bumpers makes him run the fastest.
Already? Geez O_o.
Well, cool. I’ll be playing it soon, then!
I’m still not sure on the racing game…I’m going to wait on it.
Though I doubt it will actually happenOCReMixis trying to see if maybe Sega will consider getting them to do some of the music for Sonic 4. It’s probably entirely too late for Episode 1 but meh you never know. I’m pretty torn…u-fFuGphOmU"]I’m sure OC could do a pretty good job but…
Same, I’d go for OCReMix only for a remake of an existing Sonic game (ala HDR), but I don’t trust them with coming up with an original soundtrack.
They are a remix website. They should probably stick to doing as much.
If they can make it same standard as Metamorphic Rock then hell yeah give them the job!
They just released a free OST. Apparently it’s for something called Kaleidoscope? Probably an indie game.
Will download it soon myself, just to see if it’s any good or not.
I don’t think many SRKers have fun playing Kart games…
I’m getting it though and of all the games coming this month it’s THE game I’m looking forward to.
Hell I’ve got Dante’s Inferno, Star Ocean 4, White Knight Chronicles & Heavy Rain (coming soon), and I’m putting off playing them for SEGA All-Star ^o^
There is a Star Ocean 4?
:o
Mind is blown
Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for the PS3 which has exclusive content not in the earlier 360 version.
I sent you a request Tizoc…is there anyone else for the ps3 version? its more fun when you play it with people you are familiar with
If Sega ever decides to actually remake 1-3k instead of just porting the game…AGAIN. Then I’d definitely really be 110% behind OC doing the soundtrack. I am in no way saying that OC couldn’t do an original soundtrack to Sonic 4 though as many of it’s members actually go on to become game composers and/or actually make completely original music on the side. Hmmm…If it was up to me I’d probably wait until the first game was done with the past well known game composers doing the music for episode 1 and then when Episode 2 rolled around offer an alternate soundtrack for the first episode that would be composed with reinterpretation from OC. If they were recieved well (It’s OC…I have no doubts) then possibily in future episodes some of the ReMixers can flex their muscle in some of the original tracks here and there while still doing ReMix tracks for an alternative album. Either that or just have them do an alternative soundtrack. I’m sure that after the game is done they’re probably going to do an album anyway.
I’m hoping Sonic 4’s ending sequence is epic. That is of course if the game is good in the first place. Gotta keep my hopes down…gotta keep my hopes down…
Hahaha I’m doing the same chant myself everytime I think about Sonic 4.
Will add you when I get home
Lag is unapparent in online racing games right? Cuz I played Mario Kart Wii online with some people from the US I think, and the game was fine. I lost of course, but that’s cuz I didn’t know how to play the game XD.
I’ll try to nab the European release if possible, that forklift…I MUST HAS IT!
It’s there but its not as painful as it is with say a fighter or something.
…LOL?
The “exclusive content” is Japanese voices, the ability to change targets manually and the ability to switch between anime style portraits/menus and the CG portraits/menus. No new characters, no new skills, no new dungeons.
In short…don’t bother unless you never played the 360 one. I was pissed off when I found out they added literally NOTHING to the actual game like 99% of all “international” versions of games do.
