Hey royalflush, I am off of work next saturday the 16th! I as wondering if it would be a possibility to have the next ranbat on that day so I that I would be able to attend! I understand if thatās not possible, but I figured it couldnāt hurt to ask!
Hmmmmā¦ I still want to run this weekās ranbat this Saturday on the scheduled date and will probably run it as originally planned.
However, I did plan on having a few extra tournaments in place of the final two ranbats that I would be absent for in late June/early July. We could
#1 Hold an additional tournament on 5-16-09 and either call it āRanbat #6ā OR make it an additional tournament separate from the bi-weekly ranbats. All I ask is that you try to get some people you know who play the game to come on down to add to our overall attendance count.
OR
#2: I can postpone āranbat #5ā (supposed to be this Saturday 5-9-09) and reschedule it to 5-16-09.

Thatās cool! Iām ok with either! Thanks for being so understanding & trying to work around my schedule! I know itās a lot to ask for! The only thing is, I donāt know anybody else that plays besides you guys and Risingtied! Iāll see if heās down to go though!
Alright, so Iāll run this weekās ranbat as planned. An additional tournament will also be held next week Saturday, 5-16-09 for Mr. Rayzyrbyrn. Iāll make a thread for the 5-16-09 tournament the week of (so I donāt flood the tournament thread with my topics).
As we get closer to EVO in July, I may consider running several extra tournaments (separate from the bi-weekly ranbats) to maintain our skill level as well as give everybody more chances to play in tournament play.
I just wish I knew all the players EVO staff picked/is picking for the 64-man invitational already!!!
You know it is taking so long because there has been discussion of canceling the event all together due to the games unpopularity

^^^Well, 7 people that make it to tournaments on a consistent basis, at least.
Somehow, this doesnāt surprise me. I just hope they donāt cancel it altogether. That would make me sad. All of my efforts have been made toward this game ever since they announced the invitational.

Hey, I just got great news! They messed up my schedule at work and had to make some adjustments, so I should more than likely be able to make both tourneys on the 16th and the 23rd!
