KOF XIII Tournament Details
Location: Main gaming room

Registration: Starts on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. next to the KoF XIII Cabinet, freefor the first 16 participants. See Giby or Oscar (The Answer) to sign up. First come first served basis, sorry no online registration

Date/Time: Saturday, Nov. 6th, 2010, starts at 5.00pm sharp. A roll call will be performed beforehand to make sure all 16 spots are filled.

System: Because we only have 1 copy of this game, it is a single elimination, 1 match for the preliminary rounds, 2 out of 3 for the Semis, 3 out of 5 for the Finals.

Game Rules: No limits at this point, so play as cheap as you want to win.

Sir Valle – something that crossed my mind that i wanna make sure for the benefit of everyone participating in ssf4 brackets.

do all the xbox setups have the tournament mode patch applied? from what i’ve seen with the xbox consoles provided at WNF, they have no hard drive and no save file for the game. and the tournament mode patch fixes ibuki’s wakeup invincibility bug, fei long infinite on juri, unblockable ultra setups, etc. which i think is pretty important…

Noe doesn’t wanna be involved with it. We can just do Me, Soo, MMDS. VS. Norcal 3, or if Khaos makes it, Me, Soo, MMDS, Khaos vs. Norcal 4. If anyone doesn’t wanna participate just run it 3 on 3 or at the very worst 2v2

This is a really good point. Isn’t it possible on the 360 to save game saves and small patches onto a regular external hard drive? If so, maybe it could be an option to buy a bunch of small external hard drives, or maybe even USB drives large enough to fit that patch?
Just a thought.

Edit: Maybe for future events (including EVO and other majors) the 360 of choice should be the 4GB 360 Slim. Those use internal memory, as far as I understand. But I could be wrong.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We’re currently looking into getting HDD’s/community help on this one. So far we’re about halfway there with units w/ HDDs.
If anybody wants to help us out with bringing an xbox with HDD’s, there will be goodies for your time! =)
We’ll be ok with setups tho so don’t worry too much. I always like to have spares just in case for that silly Murphy…
