-- SoCal Regionals -- $10K SSF4! Sako,Daigo,Gamerbee,Tokido Nov.5-7 LA, CA

Spectators do not have to pay a fee. Only registered players pay a fee.

Is there a team tournament for SSF4? I didn’t see one on the front page.

Mr. Valle,

Some people pm us to ask if they are only entering a single side tourney, do they still have to pay the registration / venue fee?

Is there free wifi inside the venue, so we can bring laptop for bracket updates and post status online, etc?

Also, since side-tourney are going to be signed up on-site during that day, do you mind people post a few (3 or 4) letter size flyer on the wall to point folks to the right direction and remind them to sign up?

Thanks!

hey alex, I just called dbltree and they said that the rooms are all booked. Anyway to get a few more open for the promo? PM me on here or FB. Thanks.

No team tourney sir.

1.There is no fee for BYOC because its first come first serve with very limited station space. However, any side tournaments must pay a venue fee of $5 per entrant. All side tournament organizers must report to SCR staff for approval before starting. To add onto this, approved side tournaments will have priority over casual BYOC.

2.Internet access is only allowed to SCR staff.

3.If you’re tournament is approved, you can post signs in your area only.

We’re looking into this issue. We’ll get back to you with an update.

Update:

You can still get the Doubletree deal if you call the following:
310 955-1112 and ask for Mariano.

Mention Tournament Legacy promo code to get the deal.

Let me know if you have any issues with that.

Marino hooked it up. Thanks a lot.

Dont let sessler near the mic plz
This is a serious thing, Im actually concerned about it.
I mean no disrespect BTW, but yall should know why Im worried.

I think you’ll be content this time around with what’s coming good sir =)

Wow.

Everytime I watch videos of the SF2 old days, it makes me feel so young compared to the dinosaurs like James Chen and you Valle.

LOL!

In '93 I was 6 years old at that time, and I had SF2 CE on Genesis and a friend of mine had HF on Super Nintendo. I never knew there was a difference at that age. Just assumed HF was just the name for the Super Nintendo version. Haha.

So the ppl I was going to room with at SCR aren’t going to be able to make it.

Downgraded to a 1bed thinking it would save me some money, but it didn’t.

Anyone up for sharing a room, or have a slot open in theirs? I don’t wanna be on the hook for $90/night!

I shower daily and everything - I even have a state issued card that says I’m NOT a criminal! And it doesn’t expire until 2011

would be dope as shit if sessler gets on the mic and starts dropping knowledge lol. watch he gets on the mic again and redeems himself (although imo, he doesn’t need to)

just to make sure since i dont see it on the site and i dont really wanna look through the thread (lol) but is there a parking fee or anything? a broke mans gotta know

No parking fees at the Proud Bird from my experiences over there. It should be mentioned that if you are driving and plan on parking there, carpool. They do have a big parking lot but considering the size of this tournament, parking might become a problem later on in the day and there is no place else to park around the venue (other than the parking lot for the metro that is 1 block away). There is a HUGE parking lot behind the Proud Bird but you have to be an employee of LAX in order to park there. So anybody who sees the parking lot behind the Proud Bird, know that you cannot park there.

To help give some perspective…

Mr. Valle,

If i come by will you drink a corona with me?

<3 Nam

ps. no vodka pls.
