We need to start planning where to hold the next tournament. Carey? What’s the deal with that hotel idea? Do you have to hold it at the one you work at? or could it be any one in your chain? If the latter is the case, then we should find one that’s optimal distance from most people. If not, then, that’s cool too. 
There’s talk of a possible tournament in Lancaster, which I’d be down for. I vote (for entirely selfish reasons) that it NOT happen on the weekend of May 1st. Beyond that, a tourney there would be slick.
There’s also the possibility of the RiCo tourney being rescheduled. Any word on that? Anyone heard anything?
Also, what are the dates for the AX tourney? I might drop in for that day just to browse around the convention while I’m not at the tourney.
I heard that tourney in RiCo was going to be changed up. I don’t know when, but Phobos is going to be running the #R side like last time. Other than that, I have no idea what’s going down. For Lancaster, I’d be up for it since it’s closer than Thousand Oaks (by about 20 miles or so) so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for me. I’d be up for that if anyone is willing to throw up a tourney. So yeah, what’s goin’ on guys? I was about to bump but render beat me to it. Too good, man. You’re always ahead of things.
Alright, it looks like any hotel in chain that I work for (Choice Hotels) will honor my employee discount, contrary to what my managers are saying 
. So a possible tourney may be held at one of the the locations central to every one. If I’m lucky, maybe I could drag the SB crew down there so RyuKnight’s not the only one sporting the fan man. But yes, the hotel idea is a go render, I just gotta find a day off. :tup:
Also, the tourney at AX held for GGXX#R is usually on the Saturday of that weekend. If the day changes I’ll let you know. I’m all for a RiCo tourny as well, since it wouldn’t be but a walk from where I live, so just let me know.
I’d love to be around to help. How soon are you thinking of doing this? Cuz I don’t think I’d be able to make it to a tourney if it was this month. I don’t want things to hinge on me, though (haha, well I DO, but they SHOULDn’t).
And uhh… no one up here in SB uses Anji.

My bad, I meant LC not SB. Anyway, let me get the hook-ups for the AX tourney and I’ll post all the updates here. It’ll take a while since console gaming is the last thing that they setup (unless I sign up as staff). Well, that’s pretty much it for now, unless any of you wanted to attend AX or help plan the hotel tourney. Also, it would seriously be better for me to do this thing in May since our Choice rooms are being used quite frequently now, so it would be little bit more than ass cheap (15-20 dollars more). Ok, well anyway, enough of my rambling, start coming up with ideas, dates, and all of that other jazz.
I vote for NOT this month. I have my own selfish reasons, but I can say for sure that if it was this month, then I probably wouldn’t be able to go. Any weekend after May 1st weekend would be stellar.
Nocturnal was throwing some ideas up in the air about having the next tournament at his place, so I either think you should ALL come out to Lancaster again or we do something with Kuro’s idea with the 25 dollar hotel room!
Plus if anyone has a long drive we got enough of Lancaster crew to house a few people who wanna stay the night.
SO I say THIS month as in April we could host another Tournament if Jaime is up for it. Then next month in May we can host a tournament at one of the hotels Kuro can get us.
Also sicne everyone has a real long drive from Northern Cali and more people North are expressing an interest it means that Lancaster is about an hour closer then TO or wherever else. OF course people down south (sorry purrin!) gotta drive further.

I’m all for going to a tourny this month, just not hosting one. If it means coming out to LC again, sure, but not too much further north since my wallet is starting to scream at me(which will immediately cease this Friday[payday]

Speaking of tourneys and drives - how about one in AZ?
I am hosting a big tourney in May and thought I would drop our neighbors (…well…sorta) a line and an open invite.
I have already hit up Vegas and it seems that a few of them will make the trek as well…
From the registrations so far it seems like a good turnout but I am a greedy bastard and would like to be the guy that got all kinds of players together…eh.
