Seems like the bass is pretty blown because Rachel’s thunder sounds like a building collapsing. You can even feel it happen!
I tried telling Ken that the speakers are shot and probably needed replacing but I think there was either some miscommunication thanks to the loudness of AI or he just pretended to not understand what I was saying because he was too lazy to address the issue there and then but instead he just turned the volume down a little. Also, the noise is less noticeable at first when the system is booted up so uh, I couldn’t really back it up too well lol. Whatever.

the best is when you tell Ken that a button is broken. he’ll open up the joystick panel, look at the pcbs, and mash on the button you said wasn’t working. of course it magically starts working again when he mashes on it, so he’ll look at you like you’re crazy then shrug and close the joystick panel again. epicccccccccc

between the bb and sf4 you cant hear shit, i couldnt talk to alex sitting less than 1 foot away from me…far too much noise, i feel deaf when i leave

Too bad the only two possibilities every time a button is fixed at AI is that the broken one is left in because it appears ok or he replaces it with a previously broken one that appears to be ok.
Next time someone gets a chance to talk to him see if he will put in parts if they are donated, I’d be willing to pitch in to get some new sanwa parts for it, it would be super cheap if a few others pitched in too and we could get extra buttons just incase.

They are new parts. The newly mounted sanwa sticks are definitely new. the panel however is old as fuck, which is why The Ride sticks were never replaced because the mounting plate was made for discontinued Sega sticks. if you guys are willing to donate new buttons, i can install them.
Actually, we’re looking to get Purple buttons and pink bubbletops for the SF4 setup too.
