Ok guys, big announcement. I am saying let’s call off the tourney for this weekend/ tomorrow. I don’t think anyone wants to come. On the other hand though FFA is going to have an all games pre evo tourney next saturday and a lot of people are coming along with people from outside the US aka japanese players (hopefully)!!! I was talking to the runners of denjin videos (the guys who throw the tourneys at FFA) and they told me this. So how about everyone just rest up and come by next weekend on Saturday. I will post more as I find out.
I was going to go to FFA tonight since I’ll be in the area. However, last time we were there the Punch on left side cabinet was on the fritz. Do you know off hand if this has been fixed? I definitely like the H2H setup.
Big announcement indeed. The amount of replies a tourney thread gets is not a good indication of how many people will come. Having enough warning time, being dead set in your plans, and word of mouth makes tournaments happen. I DEFINITELY suggest putting up fliers at FFA. Even right on the GG machines. Bi-weekly might be better, at least after Evo. Not sure how many people will show up next weekend when it’s the weekend before everyone’s big trip to vegas, but I’ll be there.
Purrin, I’m totally in for the room. Let me know how much it’ll be when you’ve got an idea. Should I bring TV+ setup? Do we have 1 room this time? Or 2 like last year?

I was thinking of going down to FFA and being there all day tomorrow, but it’s too bad that the tournament was canceled. Are people still going to come down and drop by tomorrow? I’m probably just going to go anyway. Unless someone decides a last minute gathering.
If it’s okay with Justus, I might go. I guess I’ll decide within in the next six hours because it’s kinda far and plus I’d like to know when it will start. But if nobody is going to be at FFA, then that gives me more reason to go to Anaheim.
The more setups the better(You know this)!!! With 9 people I’d like to avoid a massive security attack like last year, we’ll just have to be sure to keep the door closed and try to keep quiet. <3pulsr
I’ll work out the split cost for everyone once I’m not so busy/lazy. It shouldn’t be more than $110 for those of us staying 4 nights, less for those only staying 2-3 nights.
