As far as EVO went nothing really happened played a couple of games with Nate and some random people. Besides that nothing else happened so it was mainly casuals but people didn’t seem interested in playing it. As for this coming Sat it sounds good for me, hopefully Giby can make it and Manny should be able to. If anything changes Ren let us know, take care.
lets tell it like it is…there was flat out no organization this year…and im pissed at a certain “Question” for this…next year, im taking the reigns for runnin tourneys or at least making them happen at EVO…such a fucking shame this year…im honestly embarassed…espeiclaly when a anime convention tourneys gets their shit done and handled the right way in KOF and whatever other games they played up in Canada yet we just drop the ball as a whole at EVO…
Don’t take it too hard my man. I’ve always known that organizing even the smallest of tournies is not a task to be taken lightly. Much props to people who spend the time to have them and to do so w/ minimal probs (cuz you KNOW that it’s just about impossible to please outright everyone). If you’d like to organize your own, I think that’d be great. Hopefully we actually see a freak’n US release of this game on a mainstream console by then.

Shit, I can relate. The camera that I got isn’t all that intuitive, but thatz not too big an issue. I’m also not too crazy about it use’n a mem stick instead of SD. Do any of yalls happen to have a tripod? That might come in handy. Anyways, things are still look’n pretty good. The meet should be between 3-10p this time. See yalls there.

Fun meet as always, wish more people would have showed up, but I doubt that’s going to happen. The PS2 pad is gay, the Saturn pad is meant for you Asians with the tiny hands, and Kevin is not meant to be played with either of them. I think I did fairly well, as did everyone else. Redsun’s Gato has gotten better, you just need to break his f,d,df+k more, everytime you do it you get punished for not breaking it.
And Noc with the crazy feints on my broken PS2 pad makes me sad.
GGs to everyone at this last meet, the usual 4 as always :sad: hopefully sooner or later more peps come check it out. Anyone can come down don’t be shy, anyone that is interested is welcome to show up. The best way to learn is to come to as many meets as possible so you can learn from watching the matches and playing as well. Manny is getting up there he just needs a few things to fix but besides that he’s on his way to getting a lot better. I can’t wait to see the videos of this meet as we recorded a good amount of footage. Hopefully everyone enjoys watching the matchs as much as it was fun being in the matches. Just wanted to say that I’m starting to upload all the Garou matches from the recent meet up on youtube. I’ll keep adding matches as I go take care.
So it’s looking like this next Sat another Garou meet in the works, so if anyone wants to come down please don’t be shy. Anyone is welcomed to show up and learn the game even. Start at 3pm end and 10pm. Matches will get recorded again so more footage will come as well. Post up if you can make it, take care.

Seems like a good amount of people are going to be there this time around. 2 people from snk-capcom, 1 of them is going to bring 2 of his friends, the other is going to try and get someone else to come along. And then you have the usual people. Still a few more days to try and bring in more people.

Another odd meet, but not bad. Glad to see a new face. Sorry for a lack of game play (we should be just about all done w/ our XXXB mods). Perhaps we can even get in a double XB Garou set up the next time around. Hopefully we can set up a more tourney style meet to help ensure more play and to helpful get some quality footage next time. I’m hoping I can set up someth’n next month, but I’m not make’n any promises just yet. I’ll keep you guys posted about possible dates when I get the chance.

Sup dudes ? … I just came to this thread and decided to post coz I wanted to know if u guys played kof 2006/MI2. The game looks awesome, and I will like to buy it, but I dont want to play it only againts the CPU u know ? So if u guys do, I would appreciate it to let me know if u r willing to play against new comp ( aka me :lovin: ).
I saw some of u playing it at EVO 2006 with Chris no Dash, to the left side of the tvs hooked up with KOF XI, so thats why Im asking.
