I really liked the mix this time around. The tourney format was challenging but fun and the team play turned out even better than expected. Looks like my Grant is get’n a little too EZ for you guys to read sigh.

Wanted to say another great meet once again…I hope you guys did enjoy the consolized MVS. Next time I’ll have some converters for the neogeo connection so you can use your sticks/controllers. Overall everything was pretty smooth and nice…the team tourney idea was fun. The round robin idea was pretty good too…we should do those more often. Next time we need to really record the matches, time to start sharing the love around these parts ha. Alright guys GGs to everyone and until next meet keep playing.

Feinting may not be an integeral part of your game play depending on your character (the same can even be said about breaks). Looks like you got a couple of REALLY good Garou “tutors” that aren’t all too far from you. Hopefully they’ll be able to help you out (otherwise I can probably also give you some pointers). Who do you tend to use?

jae and freeman
Both of these chars can really use their feints quite well. Jae has a decent break move that can be used for combos as well as to build meter. As for Freeman, I would kind of stay away from using his break move all too often (if at all). Both Gib and Noc are very good Jae players (unfortunately these are not chars that I use with any sort of consistancy… esp Jae).
Besides get’n pointers from Noc and Gib, make sure to check out some of the vids on http://howardarena.sakura.ne.jp/ especially the ones with Freeman in them. I know that there was definitely some sick Freeman footage there. Jae, surprisingly was a bit harder to find. If you still need pointers, I’ll try to help you out at the next meet… which btw, we’re KIND OF think’n will be mid Oct.

What’s happenin’ bitches, I’ve been busy as fuck for the past few weeks, and it’s not going to slow down anytime soon. I’m going to try to show up here more and more, but we need to get shit for the next meet going already. It’s been about a freakin’ month and we don’t have shit.
I made a post about this thread on another forum a couple weeks back and we might be getting 1-5 new peoples for our shit. Good to see you back Moo, try to get some practice in with the “cheesey” bastard before the next meet so you can beast on the AV peeps

I’m coo with te date, but that does seem a bit too early, if it’s all we can do, then I should be able to do it. Do you think there’ll be a limit to how many peeps will be able to attend this one? Just asking since you’re trying to get as head count.
Nah. I’m not set’n any limits. Yeah, unfortunately I can’t really make the sched any better really. Tob will be leave’n early sun. I’d have liked to have this sat night as usual, but a lot of stuff will be go’n on then (and I work like EVERY sat night).
